Yes. Don't go past the AS1 line and you're ok. The General Assembly tried to make tint something that's checked as part of the yearly safety inspection again. It failed but they might bring it back, again. Lot of people in for a surprise if that happens.

Maybe that was the issue with me. It was years ago, I dropped off my VA Vanagon (I miss that thing) for inspection and that was the only thing that kept it from passing. Maybe it was too low.

When it hits the ground in the rear, it leaves a mark. This is same hook on my 1997 4runner.

got my Rockford Fosgate T-1000-1bdcp today, after 2 days of miss deliveries, i finally have it, its install as temp for now till i get my old amps out, but so far it sounds different. almost 1500 watts from this bad boy(i think my charging system with 2 batteries is ok), plus its the same size as my jl amps i had. my amp collection is complete. rockford fosgate t400-2 , t600-2 , and t1000-1bdcp

Finally got some proper mounts for my hi lift. Also added LED tails and a stock unpainted bumper after getting rear ended a few weeks ago, I actually like the look of it so probably won't paint it. The tailgate may get repaired at some point haha. Doesn't bother me too much. Decided not to spend the insurance money on cbi rear and instead am going to buy some other new toys for the truck. More to come

Oh and if you are wondering why I mounted the lift on the back: clearance. On the sides no matter how it is oriented I catch the lip of the garage. The big top bar is lower in the rear allowing me to keep the hi lift around the height of the rack.

Unbolted my muffler and put a section of straight pipe in it's place! It's louder for sure, but surprisingly quiet inside with no drone. Normal driving and idling you can't tell the difference, but oh man when you get on it!!! Vroom vroom!

Finally got the Rocky Road slider put on a couple days ago, a little bit of a pain as far as install (pd a buddy!) but i like how they look. Will be trying them out soon.

the bass right now is louder, that extra 500 gave it more umph, but if i did that t1500, itll give close to 1800-1900 on 2 ohm, that will be stupid loud. right now that bass is where i want, the jl audio amps didnt have the juice, its quality, but the power wasnt there. i do miss the bass eq on the jl. the new rockford amp, i barely need to use the boost, its not going more than half way and its plenty. it was almost unbearable when i was playin some lil jon to my coworker, we tried his mtx 9500 12 in his escalade and it took the amp like no problem too.
