I'm cheap as hell!!

The rack used to fit my Honda.

And I can open the hatch when I fold it down, so it is functional when I forget something after the bikes are loaded (I forget stuff a lot!).

Finally had some free time to pick up my WMW rack up from my dad's shop. It is HEAVY. I mean that in a good way though. I was expecting a good product but he definitely provided better than what I was hoping for. If it wouldn't rust I'd leave it bare metal just to show the welds off! I'll post some pictures after I get it coated. It's currently loaded in my 4R halfway sticking out so I'm going to leave it until I can dump it in the shop to get it coated.

The kiddos, some friends of mine, and I did some 4wheeling in the Zuni mountains. Nothing too crazy but at least a chance to get the new KO2's dirty. Like most places in the SW, it was a very dry winter with very little snow left. Only a couple small trickling creek crossings but mostly very dry, very dusty, powder sand, rocky trails. Pretty impressed with the KO2's so far. Apples to oranges but they seemed to do better than my friends's Firestone MT's on his Ram (that could also be part of his problem).

The previous owner had carried bikes in the back of my runner, and the handle bars had dragged across the roof making it all hairy and terrible looking. I took a cheap single blade razor and broke off the plastic guard piece in front of the blade and used it to shave my roof. It looks great now.

My PLAN today was to put my skids back on. But that went to hell in a hand basket when I realized that my front diff is leaking, and I have some sort of Oil leak. F.M.L.

I still had a lot of residual mud underneath so I washed it off, and let it all dry so I could find the source of my diff leak. It appears to be the Drivers CV seal. Which sucks, cause I need to replace the passenger driveshaft... Looks like i'm gonna be reading all the "how to replace your CV's" threads.

Still pretty bummed about the leak though. I beat on my truck pretty hard, but only because I think it can take it. Maybe not. :/
