I washed it and then noticed the drivers rear fender piece over the tire is a little loose. it seems last time out wheeling the tire rubbed the plastic apart where the bolts hold it in place :rain:op2:

Washed, sealed and waxed her today. Debadge the side emblems. Now I'm gonna do the dealership emblems here tomorrow. Looks a lot cleaner.

Fixed clunky sway bar bushings. I cannot believe the difference this made. I should have done this when I bought the truck. feels much better and SO much quieter its actually weird.

Love your metal ramps. I bought a set like that with a friend, wow, 25 years ago. He still has/uses them. Wish I bought a set for myself. Too bad you can't buy them anymore.

yes worth draining your side block ports as well. Even when doing all this keep in mind you're not getting ALL the coolant exchanged but it's close enough in my opinion if done every 50K or so... the dealer can exchange all the fluid for you but costs $200 or so depending on the dealer.

The "E" from the "4RUNNER" emblem on the rear hatch fell off in the middle of a wash. It's being held on by some white sticky tack for now, but it raises the question: to debadge or not to debadge...:roll:

Those ramps are actually my buddies.. and they probably are 25 years old.. Hence the jack there for caution lol. BUT, I have seen very similar if not the same ramps for sale at Harbor freight.

Headed to DC this weekend and noticed my overflow coolant tank low. I never dealt with the radiator so I got some parts (bolts for removing coils, they were very rusty) and one gallon of coolant. Guy at the parts department told me I needed the LLC (red stuff). Because I didn't know, I took it. Then I remembered the "pink stuff" and got confused. I never opened the LLC jug. Thank GOD I didn't! Anyway, long story short, my 2005 takes the pink stuff. Toyota changed everything to PINK (SLLC) after 2004. Whatta dumbass!!!!!

Also bought a bucket (with marks showing how full it it......... I got a 3 gallon bucket........... which is ABOUT the capacity of the 1GRFE coolant system (2.6 gallons.......... correct me if I'm wrong). Also picked up some clear plastic 3/8 tubing. Why? I plan on draining the block too and don't want to make a mess when its draining.......... hey , may as well, right?

Summary: My wife wanted to see the Cherry Blossoms. Last year we went, but were about a week too late and it rained the day before. Went this year and were in the middle of "peak". Will never do it again. Too many goddamn people running over each other to see a stupid plant. Yes, it was nice, whatever, reminded me of Rockefeller Plaza during Christmas. All I was thinking about the whole time were the mods I wanted to do and could've done during the nice weather. BUT, for those who know, denying a pregnant wife usually isn't a good idea.

Yep, went to Rockefeller this past season (Dec 2014) and went knowing it would be crowded, but JEEZUS. Once you are in the soup of people, you can't get out.

yea, that is nuts, i would suggest going on a monday/tues night around 11pm, should be dead by then. I know it gets crazy, I dont like going to shit like that but i guess you have to every now and then.

Just put on some new tires. 265/70/17 Firestone Destination A/T. They look and ride awesome. My tires were so bald and I went up an inch in tire size, so it feels like I got a lift

I'm surprised that fell out. They use red locktite and are torqued at 166 lb pounds
