Began relaxing...and [MENTION=86678]ebg18t[/MENTION] Eric, knocking the cobwebs off the Tactical Fishing Company Walleye rod so it's ready for Canada later this summer

Almost got skunked but on my last cast this little perch decided to chomp...


Tomorrow I'm going back with some fresh nightcrawlers out of the garden, I think I'll have more luck.
I saw at least 50 smallmouth bass cruising along the shoreline but no strikes and I tried everything artificial I had in my tacklebox to entice them... just goes to show, lures are designed to catch fisherman (in the store), not fish.

If nothing else today was proof that a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

In preparation for fishing/boating season, put the spare back in the oem location for more interior hauling room.
Also relocated a new trailer wiring harness closer to the receiver... (and no, I'm not worried about ripping it off, I do not do any extreme offroading)
No more converters or extensions needed when hauling my pop's fishing boat.

I found some mud and went off-roading, hope the video works. I wasn't quite sure how deep the hole was so I just powered through it. There was a steep incline as you can see in the video the rear gets some air when I get out of it. I had s great time climbing the mountain and playing in the mud. It's not often we have mud here in SoCal.

Out at my ranch this weekend and decided to mess around with the 4Runner. I've got a set spidertrax spacers that i've been meaning to put on for 9 months but haven't. Will do that next week hopefully

Had a front end alignment today and they did an awesome job and didn't tell me anything like we can only set to factory specs. Got it home and I rotated the tires.

That would be awesome if you could..I go religiously every two weeks for the last 10 moths to two ecology junk yards close to me to find a roof rack cap, oh shard handle, and couple misc. items.
The best part is I have yet to even find a single 4th Gen Runner in any junkyard I've been too ...blows my mind. But I always find 6 to 10 3rd gens at every yard.

I would gladly pay you for either one of those parts.

Never a bad day when your fishing is right.
I believe bass are starting to spawn so it takes a lot to get them to bite ...basically gotta piss them off during that period to bite.

There are definitely plenty of gimmicky lures out there no doubt.
But lures work, if work the lure.
Knowing how your fake food fish,worm,creature moves and works underwater to even begin mimicking the real thing before your gonna fool a bass into looking at it twice to start catching fish.

Nice perch by the way, and by the looks of him I would say there's your competition and they have no need to flinch or think of biting a toy on a string.

Home Grown fatty bloodworms , that's a different story.

So I'm not the only one that see's this , I trip out I even started asking the different yards do 4th gens just go to one place or some people got inside lines at the yards and swoop them up before the public .
Conspiracy? Jk lol

I even ask the gate guys do you see 4th gens ,yes.
Then where the f are they, so then I even try asking them to give me a call here's my number I will give you 25 or 50 just to say hey we have one.
Figuring this must be what's going on.

But nope, I get the same thing every time I can't do that its against the law, unfortunately and I wish I could. We get them a lot you just gotta keep checking.

Why to keep being a $2 buck **** for them keeping my hopes up.
F that just see there isn't one and never/rarely is so they can continue milking me like a 2 buck ****, better luck next time just keep checking.

Added lift

Added the Bilstein 5100's and Eibach/Toytec springs. Only went with the .85 setting up front, so there's still too much rake for my taste, but I couldn't make any sense out of the 3" lift versus CV's and UCA issues, alignment, etc. My main goal was to not screw things up, and still get a decent alignment. Oh well.....still have to finish my grill and "re-badge" the sucker.
Actually the fronts are at the "0" setting, to avoid alignment issues. I may upgrade the UCA's in the future and set the fronts to .85 to level things up more....or not.
