No spacers. LT265/70R-17, C-load rating. I like the Wrangler Duratracs. They track well, low noise, good grip, etc. Hated the previous Bridgestones I had, but I'm pretty sure they sold me a lower rated tire at the time. Now that the wife has a GTI, I'm turning it back into the something that resembles the '02 I sold 3 years ago. Miss that truck. Great clearance. Throw a dirtbike on the back and drive any trail with no issues. But I ramble....

Nice. I've been going back and forth between the duratrac and the cooper discovery at3. I commute couple days a week which wants to make me just go with the coopers, but the duratracs look sooo much better, but I know I will take a bigger hit in MPG and add more road noise, and they're not really designed with freeway commuting in mind. Decisions decisions.

Not sure where in Nor Cal you're at but I know a good body/paint guy in Sac. He's worked on my 4runner a few times and turned out perfect.

Finally did my first brake job on mine
Did my first brake job on mine yesterday. Im sure most of you might be interested but I installed 5th gen calipers all around, front rotors and pads since I had the dreaded seized caliper issue for my first time since owning her. All I will say here is I'm loving the extra stopping power :eyebrows::eyebrows:

What's the difference from the 4th gen? Direct bolt up?

This was actually yesterday but didn't have time to post but finally stop using her as a street queen and got her dirty.
Did the same thing on my 1st. Runner 2nd day having it, brand new from the lot.
Dealer wasn't happy when I drove it in there lot like that telling them they need to fix the TPMS on the truck

It happens. just a lot of cleaning and i have to scrub some mud from my front carpets. time for some weather tech or huskys!
I have weathertechs. My dad has huskeys. The weathertech mats last longer because of there rubber compound. My dad's huskeys are starting to curl after heavy use, and mine are still shaped like new after heavy use.

Get one of those lawn sprinklers that sway back and forth, and put it under your truck for a few hours. I've heard this does great for keeping mud from caking up. Also, clean your breaks very well... Ask me how I know

don't get me wrong, i love getting dirty, but cleaning mud is the absolute worst

OH how I know. Had so much of that sandy stuff in my brakes, wore my rotors out. It took 2 serpentine belt pullys and the starter also.
I mostly did the mud pits in winter, so I would find flooded out neighborhoods and run through them to clean the undercarriage. Done your method also.
