We hiked the auxier ridge trail to double arch, and a few other trails in the Red River Gorge this weekend. 4Runner was a champ on the washboard rutted gravel roads

Honestly when I first got it was worried about how it would do off-roading. I have learned more and more about what it can handle and every time I am impressed with what it can do.

You had me worried about that big rock at the tip of the hill. I barely squeezed by it and had to fold in my mirror.

Went to the junkyard and scored some rear FJ coils with the rubber isolator/bumpstop thingy for $50. They wanted $80 and tried to tell me that new ones from the dealer are $135. I told them I can buy a set off RockAuto for $43 and after trying to tell me to buy on there we agreed on $50. lol Dumbass salvage yard people around here!

Put the Rola rack on and removed the running boards

Pulled the old wheel bearing. Couldn't figure out how to press it apart without plates to get under the hub so I just made a notch to get the bolts out. Going to try pressing one together myself but think that it's not worth the trouble even though I have a press. Will be buying the other side from Kevin lol.

Turned on 4x4, drove around for several miles to get the drive train nice and warm (it was in the 50s today), found some grass, threw her into 4Lo, drove several feet, locked the diff (see lights). All is fine.
