16.5mpg doing 80!..for a v8 cool
found the sweet spot on my v6 truck to be btw 45 n 65mph...i average 19 to 21mpg
, average 14 n 16mpg doing 80mph and above., thus i normally drive btw 60 and 80mph...and average 16.5 to 17.5mpg.
stock runner with 2"quick struck lifts fronts

Took advantage of vLeds "Cyber Monday" offer and ordered reverse and license plate LEDs. The license plate lights are a no brainer as the stock lights are ugly (my opinion) and dim. I know the consensus of how LEDs are not very good at lighting up the ground when reversing. That's fine. The other day my wife was using it ( I was in my Civic) and saw her in reverse. I could barely tell the reverse lights were on. Very pathetic. At least with these, they will be more noticeable. Vleds are a top notch company. I have their switchbacks up front and still love them.

Could you post a shot of light output? I am wanting to get some brighter reverse bulbs that fit in the stock housing/connector, but I can't seem to find any that have good light output.

Perfomed my monthly rotation thru the 4H, 4L and Center Diff actuators in the parking lot this morning before coming in the door to work. We're taking a road/trail trip later this month, so it'll be a nice change to actually use the 4R for some offroading down in the southeast a bit.

Made the best I could out of a bad situation...
I had to make a trip to WV for my grand mother's funeral. I had to get my mind off of things, so I decided to just drive. I happened to see some trails cut off of a back road, so I followed them for a bit. It was great! My grandma loved the outdoors and I know she would have loved to be with me on the mountain!

Sorry for your loss. That is a great way to make the best of a situations. Doing something you know she would enjoy is a great way to celebrate her life.
