What did you do with your 4runner today?

Finally put some new shoes on my 2004. 17 inch Level 8 MK 6 with the new Nitto Terra Grappler G2.

I'm amazed at how smooth it rides.

Nothing too crazy but...

- I changed the fluids in the front/rear differential and transfer case.
- Drove in a snowstorm and saw 4+ accidents, 8+ cars pulled off the shoulder, 2 semis stuck in the median.

Unfortunately no snow here yet but I'll be ready for it when it arrives. Finally got the Tacoma/FJ suspension installed along with new wheels and tires on a few weeks ago

Not today but two days ago I drove my new (to me) 06 4Runner sport home for the first time! It's only been a couple of days but I'm already in love. Can't wait to start modding and making it my own.

I got a weird whining/humming sound in my truck today.

Sounds like a power steering pump, but doesn't change when I turn.

And it goes away when I hit around 2k rpms.

I'm hoping it's a idler pully, but it sounds like when a hydraulic pump is low on oil.....

Tomorrow I'll pull the belt off and see if the noise goes away. I sure hope it does.

I hope it's not the motor or tranny, it runs and shifts perfect.

I'm going to go a little more incognito and put two pods in this weekend. One on either side of my license plate. I have an idea for the mount, I just need to make it. Unfortunately I have to take theft into consideration, and it's easy enough to just cut the wires and unbolt them where I'm at.

i replace all my mounting hardware on my lights with nyloc nuts so you have to have more then one tool to take it off. if you make it to hard for them to take it off in a few seconds that is all i think i need

Honestly, I'm surprised I still have a spare tire and cats on my Tacoma with how long it sits at the curb right now. If the tweakers want something they're going to get it around here.

Got some new wheels mounted up. They are the American Eagle 012's aka method rip off. But these are about half the price and made in America!

I'll get a better picture tomorrow! superman3043 has the same wheels and swayed me to buy them!! thanks again superman!

Not today, but I just got my rear bumper mounted. I had to take it to a local shop since I broke three of the bolts when I tried to do it myself. He ended up having to shim the driver side quite a bit since the bumper was bent. Now I just have to figure out where to mount the license plate...
