What did you do with your 4runner today?

A detail after being covered in road salt for the last week. The peace of mind my Fluid Film under body coating brings is awesome.

I need a detail so bad, haven't washed it in months. Too dang cold (and lazy )





Did the 03->06 headlight conversion. Still need to connect the parking lights, but called it a day since it started to rain and I was outside. Headlight alignment when it gets a little darker.

OPT7 LED low beams.

Anybody replaced the 03-05 headlight wiring all the way from the source? How easy/difficult is it?

Disassembled my headlights, time to bake, separate, wet sand, paint and clear coat them. This should be fun Also picked up a buff/polisher from the local Auto Zone. Until you wax your rig by hand, you don't know the struggle....

New switch came. Been trying to find a cheaper option than the on board air that is $32 after shipping. There is the $12 one off Amazon, forgot the name, but it felt cheap and kinda meh. This one is also off amazon, but it's made by CH4x4. Fits like the factory one and works great. Is it toyota, no, but it's a great middle priced option.

Additional tail gate lighting. Just tapped into the rear cargo light so it works in conjunction with the rest of the interior lights.

Also Tacoma rear shocks installed Toytec superflex springs and daystar spacer on the driver side only to fix the driver lean and add a little more lift.

Glad to be back in a 4th gen T4r after a couple year hiatus. Not trying to start a gun debate, but I mounted a retention holster in my center console. Keeps it out of sight but quickly accessible. Took about an hour, but I took my time and didn't break anything or have leftover parts this time after taking apart the whole center console.

Planned on painting my calipers and replacing my sway bar end links. After an hour of trying to remove any of the end link bolts and just about breaking my wrench I gave up and settled with just painting the calipers and calling it a weekend.

Looks good!:thumb3: That's an interesting cant you set there though. Is that fixed, or on a swivel? I was tossing around the same idea but my G43 with the Incog Eclipse holster fits so perfectly in the "secret compartment" in the glovebox so I bagged the idea.

Decals!

Scraped off a bunch of old stickers today, and made room for some new ones, including a trio of T4R decals! One on either side and a big one in the back!

Not only that, but I installed some 5k 55w HIDs, 65w 9005 Highbeams, an upgraded headlight harness run off a relay, AND 06 Sport Headlights...damn I feel good...Looking forward to tonight so I can see the lights...the sun came out today after it dropped 4" of snow last night!

Is the High Beam reflector in the 4Runner fiberglass?

65 watt bulbs are going to generate some heat that I wouldn't be willing to put in plastic reflectors.

After catching the dog attempting to drive off with the 4Runner I decided to make a dog barrier. We bought one from Amazon but I wanted one that would allow for full use of the floor space as well as one in each Runner. I used head rest backpack hangers meant for the FJ Cruiser as the lower mounting spot and the coat hanger for the top mounting spot. I apologize I didn't take any pictures of the build process. When it warms up I'll end up painting it. I also want to get some knob bolts for easy release but haven't found where to buy them.

you do know high beam bulbs are 65w right? there are a few junk ones out there that are 60w
