What did you do with your 4runner today?

Pulled the trigger on the LC80 snorkel. My biggest reason for it is the dust factor off road, with the secondary for water protection. This will be my first major hack job into a body panel, not sure how I feel about it yet.

Good luck dude! Take a lot of pics of the install! I've been super curious as to how the fitment is and if it is really worth it. I'd love to hear how tough the install is and how much modification is needed.

Since there isn't a whole of detail on it, other than the need for a heat gun to form it a little better, I'm thinking I'll probably set up the GoPro and I'll have my DSLR on a tripod while I'm going through it. Might even dig out my vid camera (1080p digital ftw) for added angles and microphone for those %@#$!@#% moments

VSC Off modded it with the factory VSC off switch a la [MENTION=28616]SSt4r[/MENTION]. Thanks to him and the countless others who worked that situation out!

Lights say it's working...it's raining out so maybe we'll check for sure later....then again I may just wait for something more slippery like loose gravel. Time will tell.

Sidenote for those on the fence that have your skid control ecu by the brake fluid reservoir: with the factory VSC off switch, this is by far the easiest thing I've done to date (even easier than the ultra easy anytime foglight mod). Modding the VSC off switch to no longer be a momentary button, i.e. bending pins/paperclips/whatever else you can find and getting it all to work right in the button, took me 10 times longer than the actual mod itself.

Thanks man, yea defiantly read too much. Lol, so all three of my lights are on around that vsc light, abs, and trac off, there a mod or write up on how to fix that

Nice. With my vLed Tritons up front, LED mirrors, I still have the regular bulbs out back. Nice option. Wanted to "single triton LEDs" for my rear blinkers, but they are bonkers expensives.
