What did you do with your 4runner today?

Unfortunately no snow here yet but I'll be ready for it when it arrives. Finally got the Tacoma/FJ suspension installed along with new wheels and tires on a few weeks ago

Looks great, do you have any more pics? Is this Tacoma TRD Sport coils+shocks up front and normal FJ 4x4 rear springs with Tacoma TRD rear shocks? I'm about to do the same if so. Any idea how much lift you added? How is the ride quality compared to before?

I don't use it ever, and rear wiper holes always makes very clean places to mount more useful things!

Then again this is all my opinion, the arm was busted anyway and I'd rather do away with it since I never use it anyway.

Install Sunday unless I get a wild hair up my ass to do it on Saturday. Looks to fit the contours of the 4runner almost perfectly.

There is already a great write up on it in fact, try to search "map mod 4th gen on Google."

Though I did mine different, I soldered wire to the ground side of the bulb socket and used dome supervision trigger to make it fade in and out. Dome trigger is clustered together with 2 other white wires on the connector to the right of the fuses under your dash.

Just remember to diode isolate the bulbs from each other, I used this method because it made more sense to me but I think the other is easier to follow

Tried to change out the JBL Subwoofer in the back.... managed to put a small crack in the large rear interior quarter panel, completely destroy one of the plastic floor pieces and then couldn't figure out how to get the new subwoofer to fit, so ran out of time and half of my 2006 Sport's interior is in my buddies garage and the interior of my vehicle looks like failed Transformer... ManCard effort was High, ManCard success was Low... try again on Sunday

Yes, that is exactly my setup. I wrote down before and after measurements but they're at the house. I'm in training right now for work but I'll take a look when I get home. I'm sure it's since settles some more but a few weeks after installing the Tacoma parts (fj springs were added later) I'd gotten 2" of lift in the front which is more than I expected but my truck is a v6. I'll measure it again when I get home and see what I get. It looked higher before I put the 265/70's on. I'll add more pics a little later. The ride seems very similar to stock, maybe a tad on the soft side but It's good though, they are oem suspension parts so they're not exactly "offroad" oriented

Cool, thanks for the reply. Mine is a V6 too. Yours looked like it was close to level or slightly lower in the front, is that right? Is it sill that way after settling a bit? I definitely don't want the front to be higher. And again, you should post more pics
