Damn dude. You see how strong that Lexus door is? If that was some shitty Kia or Hyundai, your friend would be in a lot worse shape.

Passed that accident on my way to drop off my child at school. Ambulance had left before I drove by. They increased the speed limit there not too long ago and plans are in the works for another increase at some point. That road splits a huge subdivision and kids use the cross-walk at that intersection all the time. It's only a matter of time. Welcome to Georgia.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Mine is a V6 too. Yours looked like it was close to level or slightly lower in the front, is that right? Is it sill that way after settling a bit? I definitely don't want the front to be higher. And again, you should post more pics
Any pics you're looking for in particular? I could use a reason to bother some more haha. Right after I put them on it was close to level with the front being slightly lower. Now the front is definitely lower but it's still close to level. They've been on for a few months now. Got all the parts for $200. I have some before pics and some after lift but before wheels/tires pics I can post

That sounds perfect to me. Did you get an alignment right away or wait for it to settle? Some straight on side shots and any others would be much appreciated, your truck looks awesome. Did you have any problems with driver side lean some people are having? Thanks again.

Thanks man. I did an alignment the evening I put everything on. My caster was just barely out of spec, everything else came in. These are the measurements I came up with:
Before:
18 3/4" LF 18 3/4" RF
21" LR 22" RR
After:
20 1/2" LF 20 3/4" RF
22" LR 22 3/4" RR
That's measurements from the center of the hub to the fender. So I had a little bit of a lean before and after.
Bone stock a few weeks after I got it
Before and after pic. Stock suspension to Tacoma struts/coils and rear shocks. You can see how high it's sitting in the front. These were taken literally minutes after finishing up the alignment
Probably a month or so after the install so it'd had some time to settle
These are the most recent and with the fj rear springs. Suspension's been on for about 5 months now and you can see what it's settled to. These pics were taken within the last 2 months

Just replaced the OEM incandescent turn signal bulbs (7440) in the rears with these "smart" LED's http://www.toyota-4runner.org/inertia-led/211467-toyota-4runner-coupon-code.html . No hyper-flashing, no resistors required. Its fantastic!! Pure plug and play! :thumb: :thumb:
First video below shows the OEM bulb on the right hand side and the InertiaLED on the left. As you can see, the LED is much, much brighter and there is no hyper-flashing (I verified this by just turning on the left hand indicator only as you can see in my next post with the next two videos).

Put my rear signals in. Took a lot of messing with the socket to get them to work but when I did... Good god. Don't look directly at these. These have to be the brightest lights on my car! Love them :thumb:

Got my LEDs in from csjumper yesterday. They're definitely the best LEDs I've come across. I've been through multiple led fogs and jumpers are the best I've had 10 fold. Highly recommended and a great price

Changed oil, transfer case, and the front and rear diff fluid today. Also removed that factory air filter thing and added a K&N. She drives like new now! imp:

Sent back the crappy air on board switch and got one from CH4x4 to finish off my traction control mod. They didn't have an ABS or traction switch so it's now the "pirate lights" mod lol. A little off on the color but works perfectly.
Well that's new lol
