What did you do with your 4runner today?

Holy rusted metal batman. I tapped the clips with a wrench also to get them to seat.

Looks fine, wonder if the rusted brackets helped hold yours? Looks like they held up fine.

I haven't actually driven with them yet. Still have lots to do on my rig before its back on the road. And yeah, rust is part of my life unfortunately. I had to soak and heat those flare nuts to get them off.

Thanks for pointing this out though, I'll be keeping an eye on them for any movement.

I replaced the calipers, rotors, and pads all 4 corners, and detailed the inner fenders with some satin black paint. Brakes like a champ again. Three frozen calipers on the thing.

Damn that thing looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

I only took it for a quick ride last night but it is much more responsive, doesn't bounce around anymore, and doesn't lean in the corners so much either. I have to do some testing and flexing today.

Replaced my water pump again after only about 3,100 miles. Never buy a Gates:bash:!!! Only stick with Aisin, IMO.

Wow, I FINALLY installed/did the VSC OFF upgrade! I've been reading and reading and reading so much on the mod for a few years I realized after LTDSC did his and fancied us with another write-up just how easy it was to do. Thank you Sam for the suggestion on making sure the tap was actually tapped...it works and I have a fun button to use more often now!

Only Locked Center Diff and VSC OFF...the rest stays hibernating...The best part is it works pretty freaking well...I feel sorry for my lawn/fields...the ground is a little soft

Replaced the front differential needle bearing with the ECGS bushing a couple days ago.

So I didn't do it yet, but, I'm collecting the following parts I've ordered over the last two weeks for install:

- new kyb top hats
- bilstein 5100s to replace xreas
- ome 885s for the front w/ drivers side fitment kit
- front/rear sway bar bushings
- spidertrax 1.25" spacers
- upper/lower control arm bushings
- new greasable cam bolts

I'm pretty excited. I'll post some before after pics once complete.
