After three months of putting off my transmission fluid exchange I finally got a chance to get this done. I was just loosening the tranny fill plug when my son emerged and asked to play catch with him.

Well. Transmission fluid will have to wait yet another day...

Just did my 10k oil change, used m1 extended performance, rotated my tires and notice all lost 5-6 psi. Greased up the drive shaft, haven't took it out for a spin yet.

Yesterday, I installed a Kenwood DDX373BT HU and ran the wiring to the rear for the backup camera that's next on the mod list.

I highly recommend this HU btw...great sound, plenty of features and the button light color can be set to match the OEM orange. Ended up with a perfect fit and factory look, and you can retain the steering wheel controls and plug into the Toyota harnesses with the installation gear provided by Crutchfield.

My dream some day is to have a late 70's to early 80's 911. Absolutely beautiful vehicles. Looking at the way prices have been going for those lately I'm starting to doubt that will ever happen.

You are spot on. Prices are climbing rapidly - but "bargains" between $20-$30k can still be found.
Mine is a '77 911s. Arizona car, so absolutely no rust. I got a decent price for it and now have started refreshing / modding it to my specifications. Just completed entire interior redo and will be moving into the suspension refresh!!!

Sure...

Crux SWRTY-61S Wiring interface - wire this to the HU wiring plug, then plug into the factory harnesses.

Metra 95-8202 Dash Kit - small trim pieces for each side of the HU.

Hosa Stereo RCA to Mini Adapter - Optional, use if you want to keep the factory Aux plug in the console bin. You'll also need a short (6" will do) female-to-male extension because this adapter is too wide to plug straight into the back of the HU.

T-Spec 20' Video Cable - yep, I overpaid, and others have probably used less than a 20' cable. But I wanted to run this once and once only and also wanted no question over whether I would have enough to reach the back regardless of routing, so I bit the bullet and bought this cable. I ended up going across under the steering column, under the door sill trim (there's even a little clip holding another cable there that this one fits right into), up behind the back door to the headliner, then working it underneath the headliner, then zip tying the extra cable in the space behind the driver's side convex mirror pending the camera install.

Also got some good advice on tapping into the reverse and parking brake wires at the fuse box. If that's of interest, check here.
