Got my Magnaflow CBE installed! Everything was ez-pz, just had to hack at the stock exhaust a bit since a few of the bolts were seized / rusted.
Perfect sound for my taste and needs. Gives it a good rumble on acceleration but you hardly hear it at cruising speed - I hear that after a few hundred miles it gets a little more rough around the edges and I'm anticipating that and accepting it - I wouldn't mind a little more sound. LOVE the tips, too - I thought I'd dislike them based off of other pictures but it really looks neat in person.

i had a CBE on my last truck, they're mean and raspy once broken in. I got annoyed by it though after a few years.

Put in some interior LED lights. I gotta admit, the white/blue tint makes the interior feel like cheap motel lighting, but the extra brightness is pretty helpful.

you need to get some 5k temp then, or 4500k

Right on! In your thread, it says 05+ SR5. I have AN 04... Is there any difference? I plan on doing cluster and HVAC.

nope, should be very close, if not exactly the same, to my '05. i just edited the post to say '05 to hopefully clear that up. 03-05 clusters should be the same. if anything, just get a few extra LEDs just in case. they are cheap enough.

Exhaust noise (especially drone) is always subjective. We will see how I deal with it! I am 24 and my last car was a Focus ST with a full exhaust so it was a loud fart can all the time - annoying on long trips but I dealt with it. I could be more tolerable than your average t4r owner - If it's too bad I will likely get some resonated tips mounted as I think I saw that someone on here did to tame it.
How long until you noticed a different (meaner) sound, if I might ask?

I loved the sound just on road trips it got annoying being so constant. But damn did it sound like a beast. It took about a tank of gas to fully break in and be a little more throaty.

Gotcha - good to know it'll still sound good! My first V8 (I've only had it for three months) so I'm sure I'll be honeymooning on that sound for a while.

FJ 5100 lift

FJ springs, 5100s, 1.5 daystar, New OEM cam bolts, & energy poly bushings in progress.
Front passenger finished..wasn't too bad.
Front driver side had some roadblocks...

dropped it off and got the dash replaced today, order was place january 3rd so theres a pretty high demand for these lol

sidenote, the loaner '16 corolla i got was excellent

Had a buddy come up to the shop and help knock out the body lift, took around 4 hours even with the sub par "kit" that I got for it. Pulled off front mud flaps, running boards, stock wheels and spacers, then put the new shoes on. A little body mount and front bumper trimming and no rub! Now I just need sliders and some rubber sheeting to make new engine splash guards, what stuff do you guys use? I'll search later, I know I've seen it on here before. Time for a beer.
