Had a little fun with an RX-8 today. Him and another car were racing and got stuck behind traffic in front of me. A passing lane was coming up and when they got on it I rode their ass with the petal to the floor. They were VERY surprised that my big ass truck was on their ass! He waved out the window at me. I got to 102 at one time, and with a quickness. That little mazda would pull ever so slightly more speed, but stock gears with some heavy ass 35's, I'm impressed! Regear and I'd have smoked his ass with a quickness. :flame: :yo: :rofl:

Installed light pods in the fog lights. Due to poor planning and no experience with installing this the driver side sticks out 1/4 of an inch. So I said screw it what ever. Haha. Hopefully my ocd about being perfect doesn't kick in.

Welded up some new diff armor and painted the new FJ housing, getting ready for the swap!

Got ahold of a welder finally and was able to get my stripped front diff plug out. Then changed the oil in the front and rear diff as well the transfer case. Hopefully this weekend Ill find some time to change my engine oil, CVs, Oil Seals and some other items on my to do list.

The snorkel is connected to the intake on one end and the vehicle interior cabin on the other. Thereby missing the sand that is in the air everywhere I drive .

The front lift is set at 3". Will bump that up in a month when my front/rear bumpers, sliders, and winch from CBI arrive ... right now the only weight is the roof rack with full-size spare, hilift extreme, and a shovel.



Running Cooper Discoverer AT3s 275/70R17 at the moment (with a crappy leveling kit from the guy before).

I just did the same thing last weekend.

Fought rusted bolts that didn't want to come out for a few hours last night installing new poly swaybar bushings. For 30 bucks , it's a nice little upgrade.

Woke up today and it was a beautiful day and had the urge to go paint my calipers. It was a little more time consuming then I thought, but I'm pretty happy how it turned out...

That answered it, I thought it was going inside but I thought maybe that would be rude ti ask, all good, that's really cool and pretty much needed anyways with the stock design
