yep....when I installed my shocks and springs my wife said "it seems really high". I just said "they are just new springs, they will settle"....lol!

Well it wasn't today, but me, my wife, my son, and my wife's step sister went to our camp house on the tombigbee river over the weekend. The water was really really high, so we were not able to stay unfortunately. We called it a loss this time, but intend to go up again in a few weeks. The bass won't know what hit them :fish2:



And yea, the truck was loaded down pretty heavily in the back. So was the boat.

Had a new radiator put in a few days back to replace the leaky one...

Yesterday, changed the engine oil added a new air filter

Changed oil in front & rear differentials and T Case. Mmm... Love that smell!

Greased the shaft (Giggetty)

Mobil 1 all around! Cost a pretty penny but I believe it is worth it.

Rotating the tires today after work...

Should be all good for a while hopefully!

Not all today but recent changes.

Added a purple K fire extinguisher. Removed the clothes hanger and bolted the fire extinguisher bracket to the two bolts for that. Doesn't seem to move around while driving and no vibrations or rattles.

Dashcam hidden up under the rearview mirror, hardwired into the map light power. Comes on and starts recording when the truck is unlocked and shuts off 30 seconds or so after the truck is locked.

Took a wirebrush to the skid plates and painted them with spray on bedliner

Everyone should have a dash cam. I got into a car wreck last year where the guy lied and said he had a green arrow and I ran a red. I had a green and he failed to yield and turned in front of me. If it hadn't been for the independent witness behind me that stopped it would have been my word against his.

I don't know about the fire extinguisher mounted like that, though. I'd be afraid in a hard enough impact that it would become a projectile aimed at my head.....

I used one of the stock holes on the bracket, then I drilled a second hole to get the right spacing for the holes on the truck. I just used to the clothes hanger to mark the bracket at the right spacing.

Yeah I got it after I witnessed a hit and run a couple cars ahead of me and realized I wouldn't want to try and remember all the details if someone hit me.

I thought about that, its a pretty solid metal bracket and I positioned it that any force propelling it forward pushes it into the top part of the mount. I'd be more worried about the random stuff I put in the backseat or the cargo compartment that isn't strapped down

Thanks, he was born in a big pool in my kitchen. My wife didn't get to have our first son at home like she wanted, she still had him naturally(i delivered him) at the hospital.
First son was 6 lbs 10 ounces at 36 weeks, this one 37 weeks 8lbs 1 ounce

Congrats Calvin! Better start saving up for that 2032 4Runner when he gets to driving age! Anywhoo. Got my Bilsteins on. The Yank' looks much better leveled out. Also rides a hell of a lot better. Need an alignment though.

working on my satoshi grill and trying to find out how im going to do the next step. dont know if i should bond the fill plastic in the photo to the back side and fill the front with bondo or if i should cut the fill piece and put it in the gap. dont really want to work with fiberglass if i dont have to
