It's pretty intense as far as the obstacles go, if recommend bringing a buddy, or having the right gear on hand! I realized quick that I need a better suspension set up! But it's sitting in my dining room to be installed just haven't had the time yet! Lol

i need to go there. have not done much other then shoe creek and flag pole

my brake fluid reservoir has been running low for a while, noticed this when the brake sign lit on my dash on a 250mile trip....had to top up with the nearest dot 3 fluid i could get and finished the trip,
got swamped by other stuff n forgot to trace the leak, had to top up again a week later..
finally got around to inspecting the wheels, fortunately my greatest fear turned out false, tot twas the caliper/seals leaking...ended up being a leaking metal brake line.
that was changed and the brakes bled down a bit, and the truck is good now.

now my question is, i added about300ml to 500ml of another type/brand of brake fluid, different from what was in the car...though they r all dot 3, 1 is blueish, and the other clear, is this gonna cause any problem for me down the line?...........

A quick little "hand job" on polishing up the headlights, they were just starting to haze, turned out pretty good for 20 mints time total.



Then I hunted down a new squeak from the rear brakes, damn previous east coast life is showing its ugly head, the calipers are just beat so I ordered a new rear set to match the Napa fronts I did 6 weeks ago.

As previously mentioned now that the exhaust is fixed I love this damn thing!

Next, I really think as I've said before I don't think anyone waxed this truck since 03'. I clayed it, compounded, then polish compounded and finished with carnuba/polymer. It has paint imperfections I can't get out as a hobbyist but it looks a lot better and is smooth to the touch again!

Hood lift struts went bad a long time ago and the rear hatch ones have recently started to go bad, so I finally got new ones.

Replaced all four, only issue was needing another set of hands on the back hatch to hold it far enough up.

Hood opens perfectly, and the back hatch.. damn. I about got hit in the face cause it opened so fast.

Also ordered a new radio on Amazon, should be here tomorrow. Pricing out another sub and box to move everything into the cargo area

These work good for surface rust. If you get into something that needs a little more coaxing, try this with a grinder. Just don't get into the sheet metal. It will shred right through it. Ask me how I know. :redbrick:

Did nothing too exciting but I did swap out a new DS inner-Fender and cut it better for the SW bumper...less wind noise and more protection is always a plus in my eyes!

Now if I could just find that damn squeak in the front end

Looks really good. I have been using these two products from Shince Supply on my cladding.

Trim Shine will give it a deep rich color without leaving it greasy looking.

Trim Shield is does the same thing but it lasts longer. I usually apply it a couple times a year and use the Trim Shine and a refresher coat after every couple of washes.
