What did you do with your 4runner today?

Picked up a dual voltage panel so I can monitor both batteries in the cab. I have a voltage panel in the back for the house battery while the fridge is running, but I wanted something up front so I can monitor both batteries. Probably make a panel to fit there instead of using the stock panel so it fills in the hole better.

Today I pulled out the camping setup after a weekend in Watkins Glen NY then copy catted some of you guys on here for a cheap bike mount.
i also have a fork mount like you but mounted on plywood and can fit two bikes. great mount and safe inside the truck. just picked this thing up for free and cut the hitch down to fit great with my truck if i go on trails
just have to have a local guy weld the lock nut for the hitch back in then put it all back together
Girlfriend got me an ARB awning (2500x2500) for my bday and it came in today! Got it mounted up right quick. LOVE it! Going to get the room w/ floor attachment for camping ASAP.
Awesome! The room is really good to have. If dealers tell you they aren't available, call Duffy at ARB and he'll tell you how to get one.
Not all dealers are factory direct buyers.

Took some pics before unloading the bikes. Was raining and then got super steamy.

Short version. Cut, cuss, repeat. Fiberglass, cuss, repeat. Cuss more. Repeat. Put it in the trash can and debate whether to leave it.
Get it out and finish the cussing.
Really.
But seriously, cut the center out. It will crack in half, don't bother trying to keep it from breaking, pretty much useless. Fiberglass and plastic weld it back together.
On the bottom section, I used temporary flooring they use at construction sites to support the fiberglass till it dries. Then pretty much same as other Satoshi grilles.
Modify the steel piece that the safety latch bolts to so it sits further back.

What brake lines? Did you bleed the brakes? Looks real nice. Want to tackle brake job for the first time but weary.Getting there... front brakes went on last night

I got a ni cop Japanese hard line from carquest. It bends into whatever shape you want it. The stainless steel braided lines I got from purefjcruiser. I did bleed them immediately after install.
The one pain I did have was one of the brakes had powdercoat inside the threaded area for the brake line. I wanted to tap it for fear of cross threading but a M10x1.0 tap is near impossible to find locally. I just ended up easing the line on until it was fully seated backing it out numerous times until I was certain. I also should have gotten a shorter hard line but a longer one doesn't hurt.
I also installed two M springs on both calipers as I hope it helps with the caliper return and I can avoid the dreaded sticking caliper.

That's what I got. You have to buy two of them so it ends up being $68.
You don't have to replace the hard lines but I did anyways. Like I said I just got them from Carquest but you can get these lines from most auto parts store.

Removed the vinyl on my fender. That sucked. Loving the scoop.
What vinyl? Never noticed you had vinyl wrapped your fenders.

A little more together than it was yesterday. Torqued down a bunch of stuff I left untorqued so I could do it all at once. Installed the disco endlinks. A little unsure of their install so I'm gonna read into that. Doesn't seem right.
Also installed a curt class 3 receiver.
Your outer tie rod, did you paint that?

Yup ... Should be a similar color to my King springs and UCAs when it's all said and done.
