What did you do with your 4runner today?

Cv shaft on the pass side took just over an hour from tear down to the last bolt back together working by myself

Decided to try something on my headlights that I was skeptical about, but for the price I couldn't say no...wipe new.

It actually made quite a difference! I was an idiot and did it when it was almost dark so I missed a few small spots, but I'll go back and redo it in a few days and it should be good. I'm pleased with the difference it made for 9 bucks though...

Got two new Ebay chip keys and remotes programmed. Thanks to these threads and contributors.

Next up is install a 600W inverter. I haven't looked around for other Runner guys doing this, but I think it can be done. I figure if it works on an '05 Tundra 4.7 with the factory tow package (130A alternator, 27F battery) it will work on this Runner.

Are those the Ambit wheels? Those looks good.

I did my rear diff breather mod. Took me about 15 minutes of work but about 30 minutes of crawling back out from under the truck to get a different wrench, then crawling back out again to get another different wrench then crawling back out again to retrieve my screwdriver that rolled down the driveway then crawling back out again to get some PB Blaster then crawling out again to get some zip ties.

I need to do this. Really that simple?

Installed a 6 inch LED bar on the Yank. Took me wayy to long, the wiring harness was too short and I had to do some splicing. I ended up routing the wires through the door.

It turned out to be an almost perfect fit for right in the middle of that bumper insert grille thingy. Just had to cut out a small section.

Found that I was short a few connectors so I grabbed the Warrior and headed into town. Got the bits, Got my parts, pulled into a gas station for a Gatorade. All was well, I got back in the truck....and a ****ING SNAKE SLITHERED OUT FROM THE DASH AND OVER MY GODDAMN MOTHER****ING FOOT. MY. ****ING. FOOT. :bolt: Never before has any mildly overweight redneck ever dived out of a ****ing truck so ****ing fast as my fat ass did. I think my exact words while performing this feat of acrobatics were "HOLY MOTHER****ING JESUS THERE IS A SNAKE IN MY TRUCK!" The gas station attendant (bless her heart) saw my escape from the serpentine threat and came out of the store...with a ****ing shovel. She beat that thing to death before I could even register wtf I was seeing. I checked that truck over top to bottom for more...and I still put my foot to the floor getting home. Im currently filling the Warrior with mothballs. :painkiller:

Yea. It was super easy. 14mm wrench to take off the stock breather, 12mm wrench to install the new union. Feed the rubber hose down from the gas cap and attach it to the union. Zip tie to frame pieces where reasonable. Leave enough slack for suspension travel. Put the stock breather on the end of the hose near the gas cap.

Omfg! I would've died! Snakes.. Argh I hate those bastards!
BTW, there is an easy way to run those wires. It's right beside the master cylinder. Here's a pic of the grommet. Cut the nipple and slide the wires through.

Put these together. 5100s and OME 885s.

I bought prebuilt coilovers from Toytec. Is that metal piece at the bottom of the spring adjustable? It looks like it is but I don't know anything about it. I think I'll want to adjust mine if I get a front bumper if they're adjustable.

Good to know, thanks. Ill tidy that up later, maybe after I install my flowmaster (I get it tomorrow hopefully! :high5:)
Its a damn good thing I was stopped when the snake made himself known. If I was driving I probably would have wrecked! :lookout:

It was just a rat snake...at the time my biggest concern was "THERES A ****ING SNAKE ON MY FOOT" instead of "Oh, just a rat snake". Did not help that I was wearing flip flops. :wow:
