Ordered a set of JBA UCA! Can't wait to try them out.
On another note, I have removed a few heat shields near the exhaust lately because they were rattling like crazy. There were 2 along the passenger side and one around the driver side cat. Is a need to fix them and keep them on? I know they dissipate the heat, but will it be noticeable?

Got my center diff lock to start working! Yay! It's been frozen since I bought it.
Well, I didn't. I took a friend of mine and his kids wheeling Sunday. I let him drive us out and he hit the lock button and it worked just fine for him. Ugh, so aggravating. But at least now it works!

Thank you. To tell you the truth one of the back bolts was broken anyways. I paid a guy to do it. Didn't take him long. Car customizer shop.

I chopped off the coke bottle. No resonator + delta flow 40 = mean sound without much drone.

last week I had an oil change, a tranny drain and fill, a radiator drain and fill, and the rear diff drain and fill. and I put a new set of rubbers on it. continental CrossContact LX20. tires were just under 800 installed at sears.
the last two days I towed a 2 axle u-haul with my entire life in it from Austin to Atlanta. 1k miles later and it did great. at a certain point I stopped worrying so much and just went the speed limit and it felt a lot better. I'd say at like mile 400 or so it became second nature.

Dropped the prop shaft, polished the slip yoke, and cleaned out the MP lithium grease I've been pumping in there for over a year and filled it up with the correct stuff with moly.
A lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The nuts were a pain to get a ratchet on but I was able to get away with only dropping the front of the shaft.
I removed the nuts on the yoke, unscrewed the zerk fitting to releave pressure, compressed the yoke enough to get it off the studs and slid it off the shaft. Cleaned everything up and put it back together. Took only half an hour.
Messy but hopefully worth it.

Today I got a tow from a 4wd road at the base of a mountain back home because my crank shaft pulley fell offSo bummed

As for my truck, it's funny how serendipity works sometimes. Dropped a socket while changing my PCV valve, crawled under the truck to get it and saw this gray gunk all over the driver's side front. Ended up replacing the axle.
Also put a set of Michelins on. Rides & drives great. FYI, Discount Tire will price-match Costco.

Check engine light, VSC Trac, and VSC Off all came on while I was heading to work today. Everything seemed fine though and I have no idea why the lights are on. I am going to do some searching but off the top of your head, anyone got any ideas??

Added some rigid industries yellow d2 light covers. Because why not.. they work excellent and fit great.

I'm betting an O2 sensor, mine just did the same thing last month. 100 bucks and 5 minutes later... no more lights for me. Can you go to a parts store and get the codes read for free?

Yep, probably the O2. Both of my front ones are shot. Not gonna worry till emissions time though haha.

Yep, it's 02 sensor most likely. Had the same issue. Replaced mine in March with a Denso. The lights just recently came back on so it looks like I'll be replacing it again.
It's not too hard, just need the correct 02 sensor socket. The one i did was the driver side rear (bank 2 sensor 2).
Up to you, but i'd invest in a blue tooth code reader to connect to your phone. I bought one off of amazon and use the Torque lite app. Works awesome!
