No. Got some commercial grade degreaser. . . sprayed the entire undercarriage. Let it sit, then wash it all off. Let dry, then just spray fluid film everywhere, being cautious of rubber hosing and bushing as they say it can damage that. I actually have a lift and just pulled the vehicle up on a set of ramps and just creepered underneath it. This is my second time. I did it last winter and lasted almost the entire season, I just had some time this weekend so figured I would get a coat on there for now.

The only components you should avoid hitting with FF are the exhaust and brakes. Everything else can be drenched in it. Natural rubbers are susceptible to damage from it. Not hydrocarbon resistant compounds found in all soft components of the undercarriage.

Right, so I stay away from the fuel/brake lines and rubber hoses correct? Thats just what I read online through a couple of forums. I mean I'm sure I had a little overspray on the exhaust, but no problems thus far.

Did some much maintenance today: flushed the power steering fluid. I think the dealer I purchased the truck from topped the reservoir up with regular PS fluid. Flushed with Maxlife ATF.
Then folded down the rear seats and took a load of branches and brushes to the local dump.

Well I was already considering that M1's marketing and reputation over the years was one of the reasons I consistently purchased and used M1 in all my vehicles.
I then did some research into claims their product isn't the same it once was.
A little bit of digging and the speculation is they use group III base stocks.
Higher than usual amounts of iron in UOAs from users (including my own recently taken).

There is more data out there regarding the analysis of M1 oils but I'm just going to compare my UOA between M1 and Castrol Edge and go from there. I've read lots of good things about Castrol Edge and figure what the heck. Bobistheoilguy forums can be very informative on anything oil related.
FWIW I use M1 ESP in my WRX but that stuff isn't like normal M1 and hard to find in stores.

In regards to the WRX and he perfect oil. I hear you on that. Had a stage 2 STi. And a few buddies actually run a Subaru specialty shop and tune them as well. Those motors when done right are amazing
In other news today I did a little exploring here in the Midwest. Stretched the 4wd and suspension out a bit too.

So I replaced my O2 sensor, and the CEL finally went off. But VSC TRAC/VSC Off are still illuminated. Gonna try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if that fixes it. If not, looks like I need to do a Zero Point Calibration unless anyone else has any other ideas.
I was going to say zpc after resetting the ecu. Sounds like the right track to me.

For the ZPC, it has to be almost completely flat/level right?
Yes that is what I read. I need to do mine once I fix my broken abs sensor.
