Finally won this dog house at a charity auction and now need to go get a trailer to tow this 7foot by 4 foot monstrosity home. Hey at least it's a tax write off and went to a great cause

That is perfection.

Mine won't be such a classic but that's the look I want. For my mica, I've got a shrockworks bumper in the fabrication queue and about to pull the trigger on Icon Stage 2. Black Rock Yumas in the spring.

not today, but saturday finally tracked down my exhaust leak. feared it was the dreaded manifold but was happy to learn it was the gasket before the muffler. only took 6 shops to track one down. i can confirm that the v8 with a missing exhaust gasket sounds like dog poop, imo. should now be good for another 180k miles

also sea foamed it and went on zika patrol. neighborhood should be good now. don't know how the fire department didn't show up at my house....i think the last treatment was 90k ago

So after my awning support broke I emailed ARB. Duffy helped a few months ago when everyone was saying the tent room wasn't available until mid summer and he helped me get one in 3 days.
Today he set me up with Mitch and they're sending me a new support free.
Their customer service has been amazing.

Many dealers do not buy direct. Several told me they weren't available. Duffy put me in touch with a dealer that had it to me in a few days. This was in May.

MOTHER OF PEARL!! If I could get one of those in a few years I totally would. Congrats on the purchase those things are amazing inside and out, not to mention if you wanted can take a pretty technical trail you could head on without any problems(except for maybe width)!

Greased my drive shafts. Although I could only find 5 zerks and I've read that there are 6.

I've also discovered that I get nauseated working under my truck. I don't know what that's about. Happened twice now.

Ok update from two hard lines across radiator support leaking. First quote from dealer 496.61 bucks revised how f@cking stupid do you think I am out the door price 191.12 [emoji13]

After explaining the difference in a want and a need to the new service guy I explained I didn't care what the service tech wants to do this is what he is going to do.

Thursday the 11th: attempt to install IMS, stuck at 1 seized stud, put everything back together

Friday the 12th: second attempt to install IMS, successful

Saturday the 13th: drove to work area with the intent to install new rear springs (T12s), forgot jackstands... cancel plans

Sunday the 14th: brought jackstands, installed rear springs, got sunburn cause it was so hot I worked shirtless

Monday the 15th: do not remember doing anything

Tuesday the 16th: replaced passenger side wheel hub in the rain

Wednesday the 17th: received new front brakes, but had to think about what I want to do

Thursday the 18th: replaced front brakes (rotors and calipers), got home around 10:30pm

Friday the 19th: left home 7am, drove 4 hours from NJ to VA, picked up friends, drove to Quantico USMC museum then to a private military vehicle collection, then to hotel near DC

Saturday the 20th: drove from hotel to Gettysburg and back to hotel

Sunday the 21th: drove from hotel to a shooting range in WV (had fun shooting in the rain...), then to Harper's Ferry WV (gorgeous place), back to hotel then to Baltimore

Monday the 22nd: visited NSA museum and National Electronics museum , lunch in Baltimore, visit the museum ships in the harbor, drove back to NJ in the afternoon

all in all about 800 miles in 4 days

can I please get some sleep now, thanks

Replaced fluids in the front and rear diffs. Tore the rear end apart (95 4x4 3.0) so I could replace the shocks and coils. Bilstein 5100's and Moog HD Coils going on. Man, those top nuts on the rear shocks sure are a PitA. Anyway, got everything off, new coils on, go to put the new shocks on, then realize they sent me the wrong shocks. Gotta wait two days to finish now.

As soon as this is done, all I need to do is a brake job then I think she'll be ready to tow with! Too bad summer's pretty much over.
