What did you do with your 4runner today?

Had my timing belt service done at ~87000 miles on my 08 SR5 V8 including water pump, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, tensioners, and I also had the PCV valve and thermostat replaced while they were there. Total labor was just over 4 hours, and total cost with tax for all the above came out to $997 which I think is pretty reasonable. I had it done at Heritage Toyota in South Burlington Vermont. They were pretty easy to deal with for a dealership service department if anyone else is in the Northeast. I'm happy to write down part numbers of what I had replaced if anyone is interested.

That's actually really reasonable. Around here, timing belt and water pump service is pushing $1000+ at the dealer. Serpentine belt, tensionsers, and PCV would all be extra on top too.

TPMS disabled! After 3 years of driving with a blinking light it's so weird not seeing it!

Just jumped the two connections and left the entire system unplugged.

New lift installed 2 weeks ago using the no spring compressor method. Front: OME 884's with bilstein adj. 5100's set at "0" and no top plate spacer. Rear: Toytec Superflex w/ bilstein 5100's. New tires put on 2 days ago, they are Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70r17.

For couple year now every time I turn the blower on my 4runner stinks. Today, I took out the cabin filter behind the glove box, vacuumed (crevice tool), then sprayed lysol into cabin filter area with the fan running on high and cycling through all air output control. Let vent for 6 hours with windows down. Hopefully, smells fresher tomorrow.

Got my ARB awning mounted to the stock rack, built some brackets. Overall pretty simple. Going to see how well they hold up and change them if I need to. But overall I'm stoked.

Oh and pro tip. I got a battery powered led strip from eBay for like $9 shipped....and its 200cm which is basically the length of an ARB 2000. I like that it's battery powered so you don't have a cord going all the way to a cigarette lighter like others that I've seen. [emoji1303]

Yep .. just shove a pin in there and slowly but forcefully break them loose from the position they're stuck in. Then adjust up/down, side/side and test until it sprays to a spot you're happy with.

Both my far left and right were essentially hitting the edges of the windshield where they were useless. Adjusted them inwards.
