- Cali Raised LED magnetic light bar cover (look it up, they're pretty sweet)

It's a kit that can be used with any light bar.

They include magnets and glue and step you through placing them on any light bar. It's actually really easy and doesn't impede the lighting whatsoever. It's also really sturdy.

Trust me I was skeptical.

Hm.......I really like the way it looks compared to the regular covers. Also seems like it would make changing from tinted to amber relatively quickly.

My only two questions would be:

1. Would it void any manufacturer warranty? I just don't know if they would say anything about the glue/magnets.

2.Would ice/snow buildup make the magnets less effective?

1. I don't know the answer, but I really can't imagine it voiding your warranty. You honestly can't even see the magnets; they are really small, and essentially blend in with the reflective materials inside the light. You have to get up really close to see them.

2. Magnetic strength actually increases with colder temperatures, to a certain point. This link explains what I'm describing: https://www.apexmagnets.com/news-ho...hat-happens-to-a-magnet-in-cold-temperatures/. Snow and ice, like anything else, could impede the magnets if they sandwich between the ones on the light and the ones on the cover. But that wouldn't be an issue if the cover was either totally on, or off, during inclement weather.

Not since switching to the Gibson. I haven't had any sulfer or exhaust smell enter the cab.
