No luck with the impact wrench so waiting on the special crank pulley holder tool to arrive along with a couple hoses that were soft, the new fan mount, and a tensioner.

Front side marker went out a few weeks ago. Ordered some vLed replacements. Pricey, but this is something I don't want to do frequently.

Took it for a drive to NY State to visit a few places we don't have in Canada.

The ride is great and it is comfortable for longer drives.

Mine lasted about two hours after I got it home before the upgrades started! LOL

I think you have to get the Toyota part to get the little chinga that holds it in place. I'll know in a few days since I just ordered one.

Got the Toyota wiper blade and it does in fact have the little chinga the rests in the holder on the tailgate.

The rear blades i got from RockAuto that were on clearance sale for $1.27 each, which turned out to be in NAPA packaging has the little attachment piece that rest in the holder included with the blade.

Got my CBI Ditch Brackets installed!

Also finished up my switch panel. Think it came out pretty good. I have switches elsewhere, but I wanted all of my lighting to be in one location. Still don't have all of the lighting installed, but that should happen when I have free time over the next few weeks. Wired everything and have to dremel the dash a bit, but all in all I am really happy with it and it looks like it was meant to be there

Installed my hood scoop light bar thanks to @c4fabrication. I have had this thing sitting in my garage waiting to be installed for about a year :biggrin1:

So some "cool" things are happening... picked up a cheap ebay snorkel for an LC 80. I started by trimming the template and then mocking up the location.

I had to get some encouragement from my wife to drill the first hole. But in the end I love the idea of doing mods that take some guts to do.

The snorkel tube lines up very well with the factory intake location... this may be both a good and a bad thing.

The mockup is as far as I got today. I need to get some fittings and some backer rod and black caulking.

I also plan to heat the neck of the snorkel and bend it more in line with the A-Pillar. Also plan to pick up a pre-filter/particulate separator like this...

Just takes guts to drill the big hole. All the rest are gravy after that. Even if I don't like how it looks I can just buy glass fenders for less than 500 a pair and leave them just black.

Looks awesome!!!! How difficult was running the "electrics"? I've been looking at the hood scoop light for a while. Thinking of ordering it along with their sliders in the spring.

SUPER easy. Just ran the wire under that protective cover thats under the hood and ran it down the pillar that connects the hood to the body. From there just the positive and negative to the battery and the wires to the switch wires through the firewall.

I wired mine pretty temporary because I have a sPOD that I'm going to install in the near future but I have it wired with the Rigid wiring harness right now.

Awesome. C4 is doing front and rear bumpers for me in March so I think I'll probably have to pick this up from him too. Like how it's hidden but puts out quite a bit of light.

Agreed, that first cut is always the hardest. Did aftermarket fog lights on another car and had to give the body saw to someone else for the first cut. After that I grabbed it back and did the rest myself.

Put my rola roof rack with low profile mounts with my light bar. I need to added washers to lift it up a little because some of the bars were hitting the roof. Still need to wire up the lights.

dont know if i posted it but i got a set of amber covers and a strip of leds from my brother for Christmas. just have to wire up some under hood lights now
