x-post... Had Eibach shocks installed this weekend... Pro Truck Sports in the rear and Pro Truck Sport Leveling in the front. Eibach is developing springs for 4th gens and I know a guy, so I got hooked up with everything for testing. I'll be driving around with the new shocks + stock springs for ~6 weeks, then I'll be getting the new springs. So far I love it. I was worried I was going to miss my XREAS, but two of the shocks were leaking anyway so it wasn't riding how it should have in the first place. Got 2½" lift in the front and it soaks everything up so nice. I have a couple big sweeping freeway interchanges on my commute, and it handles those just as well as the XREAS did.

there are two versions, i dont know which version they sell, but you can look up Orange Boxx Fabrication's website, very poorly designed, to see the two versions.

Those look pretty cool! How hard of an install is it? It says uses the factory holes, but do you need to get behind the body paneling to install it?
They were easy to install. They use existing bolts inside the vehicle

I haven't been on this site actively in over a year...workups, deployment..bleh. I have also been considering selling my truck and getting a 5th gen but I really don't see that move as an "upgrade" given how much capability my TE has. So, Ive been doing a lot of little upgrades lately to refresh some minor issues:
-My headlights were yellowing badly so I picked up the Sylvania headlight restoration kit and BAM! Looks like they are brand new!
-With new clear lenses, did the H11 to H9 and 9005 to 9011 headlight mod. So far so good.
-Finally, after 6 years of ignoring my TPMS light and having previously tried the Scotchlock mod, I revisited that thread and saw that someone had finally figured out the 08-09 wiring differences. TPMS light is finally off!
I also plan to do a full tranny fluid swap and install some rear bump stop relocation spacers this week along with some other maintenance tasks. Its good to be back!

I got the power posts and took one apart for the positive terminal and mounted it that way. The negative terminal is connected to one as well. How's the sound? Any drone?
Parts were $1000 and labor was $1000. Would have done the install myself but I don't have a welder/don't know how to weld.
Negligible at idle at a light but I don't mind. My y pipe was trashed so I had gotten used to the loud leak I had. These sound like sweet almost-silent music by comparison.
