What did you do with your 4runner today?

Purchased some Ram Mounts for my Garmin Nuvi as well as ordered a Garmin GPSMAP 64ST and ram mounts for that as well.

I still use an old 60csx on my dirtbike and adventure rides and ended up just using that in the 4runner too! Screen's a little small but plenty capable and bulletproof. Ram mount bolted straight to the dash was the only way to make it stable enough for my liking, the little glove box mount "no drill" kind suck.

I use a Garmin Montana 680 with a windshield mount. Works great. You can see it in this picture next to my phone.

Towed the 6x12x6 U-Haul trailer 600 miles and got 15 mpg. This truck is awesome. First time towing since the lift-- the final box is checked and I am super happy with how it turned out. Pic says it all...

Nothing exciting, really. I picked up my 4Runner from the shop today and went through dash cam. I uncovered my own service adviser (whos also an Assistant service mgr) taking my 4Runner on a joyride to get a fresh cut for 1+ hour! Can't wait to speak with the GM tomorrow

Did the independent fog light mod today. I've been wanting to do this one for a while.

Drove what turned out to be my last trip on a local 1,000 acre wooded mountainside plot of unposted land with good blazed trails. I passed a guy walking in front of a side by side and a four wheeler. Looked like a man out with his dad and kids. I waved and drove by. Turned back a ways down the path and when I got back to the intersection I passed them at I saw a fresh, yellow, brand spanking new POSTED sign that I didn't recall seeing on the way in and have never seen before.

OH NO!

I saw their tracks followed my tracks back the way I came in. I figured they were looking to see where I came in at. I caught up with them back near the entrance and chatted a bit. Turns out they own a hunting club and just bought or leased (he said bought, online court records show no sale) all the land. First, he politely grilled me about a deer they just found where we were stopped that was poached. I told him I don't hunt (I don't) and asked if the property would be closed to driving as well and he said yes. Told me to spread the word. He was polite but was clearly kicking me off the property.

Sucks big time. Was the best place to wheel around here.

Added 1.5 wheel spacers. put ome spacer to fix the driver lean and raise the rear to level my 4Runner

lubed the zirks, put some air in the spare to make the damn light go off....turned 193k earlier this week.

finished up the roof basket and got it mounted and got my new tires and wheels mounted up!

Headers, cbi ditch light brackets with Auxbeam lights, painted wiper arms, new bulb in rear window switch, pulled inner cv boots down so they don't rub themselves. Found that I have a weeping radiator and have some new spark plugs and pcv to put in too next weekend. Plus figure out my new O2 sensor faults and leaks.

How were those headers to install? Did they fit right up to the stock exhaust or you needed to run all new stuff?

Picked up a little foam mattress so we can make a bed in the runner, I will have to cut it down as 12 inches is a tad thick. I will take off the 2 in memory foam and the 2 in high density foam. It is still too darn cold to major work in the garage so just in the engineering stage.
