What did you do with your 4runner today?

Got up early and finished putting the oil cooler lines in, only lost about an ounce like everyone said. I notched the rubber hose to use as a grommet, then added about 1/4 cup of trans fluid to the line and the oil cooler. I took about 1/2 hour but it did drain the funnel. Then changed the DRL back from the LED I put in, they just blinked too fast, and no efficient fix. Then came in for breakfast! Two of the pics turned 90 degrees.

trying to find out how to mount my air compressor
I was going to put mine in the same spot, but I decided to do a dual battery setup, so I have to find a new place for my compressor. I'm starting my rear bumper build today, and might incorporate the compressor in the back somewhere.

I mounted my ARB behind the passenger headlight. Tight fit, but it worked out well and I still have room for my dual battery setup. I don't know if yours would fit that way or not, but it's worth checking out.trying to find out how to mount my air compressor

do you have a tank it fills or do you use it as direct air? Also, wheres the damn hose insert for that on that model? I cant seem to find a good pic of it, i want to do similar.
Built a slim mount for two 1.75 gallon rotopax on the factory roof rack. I can fit tred pros on one side and hi lift on the other and still fit out the garage door!
This is awesome! Where did you get all the parts and crossbar brackets? The gas cans seal tight enough that you don't worry about them leaking being on there side?

Picturing the Runner with some 5th gen trail edition wheels. Then I did the breather mod, knocked the back of my head onto the the tow hitch and imagine some TRD OFFROAD stickers on the rear quarter panels for added horsepower.

Currently no tank. Got my front locker hooked up and the connection for the hose is mounted on the side of the engine bay.

haha, does look familia, wish I had the V8 though! haha. I've only got about $100 invested in lights and pig tail adapter, plus the bulb cost.

Yamika 23H might mounts from vm-utility.com to mount to the stock crossbars with extra long carriage bolts down through, 3/4" aluminum angle 1/8" thick from rural king 10 feet total for the aluminum rack, and rotopax locking mounts that were cheap on ebay $40/pair.
I haven't tested this setup yet other than a drive to work to see if they made any weird noises. They fit great and no sounds. I've read mixed reviews on leaks and bubbling but mostly with high temps/elevation changes and not venting as recommended by rotopax so we'll see how they work.
