What did you do with your 4runner today?

i like that someone has put in more cross bars. i took out mine for my rola mounts and wanted to see how it would look with 4. seems like it might be able to fit 6 cross bars in the rack from your photo

Yes, it does seem like you can fit up to six crossbars. The mounts that slide into the side rails are about 7" long. The usable part of the side rail is about 48" long.

Whether six is better than four depends on your needs. My goal is to attach a different mounting plate to each pair of crossbars and nothing else (as described in my other post). But if you are just looking to distribute your load and have as many attachment points as possible, then more is better.

I have had nifty extreme mats for almost 8 years, been wanting to get some weathers for a few years. Just can't justify buying them if I have something decent already. You glad you finally pulled the trigger?

So after having a newer set of wheels and tires on for less than 500 miles, a nail found its way into the fresh rubber. This is the second straight Toyota that this has happened; flat tire with under 500 miles on new rubber. I think of it as a good omen though; since on the first Toyota, a 2007 Tacoma with 498 miles on it, it was trouble free after that.

I am. they fit perfect. What I did was I put them in my wishlist on amazon and watched the price fluctuate. I got first and second row for $161 delivered. I have seen them as low as $150. but I lost patience for that rare day.

How are you liking the overall look of the TE rims. I am seriously considering picking up a set to replace my SR5 rims.

How are you liking the overall look of the TE rims. I am seriously considering picking up a set to replace my SR5 rims.

I love the look and the tire size is a bit wider. I am playing around with the idea of painting the spokes black and leaving the surrounding area silver.

Hi guys - it's a little louder for sure after removing the two cats. I do have the MAF calibrator but haven't installed it yet. I had to buy a wide band o2 sensor and gauge as well to program. Have to install it too. The exhaust guys put an extra bung in the y pipe for me. I may dyno if I can find an all wheel dyno relatively close.

I feel like I owe it to the community to see what this adds. My guess it 50hp.

- DT headers
