Actually,I know its super weird, but Toyota did that at the factory pretty often, used NGK on one bank and Denso on the other bank. No clue why. When you buy new plugs at the dealer they will give you all 8 the same brand. The fact that there is 2 different ones makes it more evident that those are the original plugs.

The two different brands were factory, I had the same set up in mine. 172k miles on originals is insane.

Holy crap, I’ve never heard of that before. Now I’m going to have to pull mine to check. I was meaning to change them this spring anyway since I don’t know if they’ve ever been done. Now I’m really interested to see if they are 2 different brands! If I hadn’t seen this thread, I would have had a real WTF moment seeing that, lol!

That the shipped price? I got it on one of their sales and picked it up since they're fairly local, cost a bit less than that. Watch their prices over memorial day, usually do a sale

Yes, my options were full hoops so that added a bit and shipped to Texas after taxes was just under $750. Yeah I was going to wait for a sale, but I'm impatient and decided to just build one instead.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but can anyone recommend a simple radio that has the OEM look, and would fit easily in a 2008 4Runner, but has Bluetooth? PM's appreciated so as to not clutter the thread.

[MENTION=151508]EDECEKO[/MENTION] I had been wanting the same thing. After several tries with different FM modulators I came across this GTA Car Kit. It works perfectly with the stock head unit and I can even still use my steering wheel controls. Plus hands free calling. Much cheaper than having to replace the entire head unit. Check it out.

A scion HU is a drop-in fit if you don't have the JBL setup. Even if you do, it's still not that hard to make it work. That was the best cheap setup I found before I went for a full nav unit.
