What did you do with your 4runner today?

You mean the -5hp K&N air filter that gums up your mass airflow sensor.
Or the -2mpg tires making extra noise?

This is a 2004 V6 4x4 SR5 making all that noise.

K&N CAI series 63 for extra sound effects.
A magnaflow muffler, 24"...no resonator...axle dump.
URD MAF.

XTP intake manifold and the larger 68mm throttle body.

That's about it.

For some reason, on mobile, it sounded like you had forced induction. :doh: I looked through your build thread looking for a turbo/supercharger. haha

New here. Got a 2004 4Runner SR5 a few days ago and I love it. Nothing special last night, I just couldnt sleep because I was thinking about her and drove her for an hour around my old neighborhood and stomping grounds.

I just got a new windshield installed on my lunch break. Haven't had time to properly inspect it but it looks like the installer did a quality job.

if that doesnt work just search 03-05 4runner headlights and look for the seller: oemassive. If you have the time and an oven, can save the money and paint them yourselves. I plan on retrofitting my old ones for a buddy and selling the old ones to him otherwise I would've just painted them.

Luckily Ebay just had a 30% off sale for fathers day but they periodically do 20% sales if you want to get in cheaper then they are now and rather buy then mod. Either way the lights feel and look like good quality and shipped quick.

Definitely unique my friend, nicely done!

Would definitely look into local laws regarding use of colors other than white/red on public roads. You're looking at an equipment violation here in VA if the cop wants to issue you one otherwise they'll let you go with a warning as long you disable said lights

Since they arent set up to blink i am covered. My last truck had red lights in the front and i never got pulled since they were markers. I drove the red lights from NC to NY and had no issues. Thanks for the heads up though!! I like being different haha

I wonder if it has to do with how bright they are. Here's a picture of my light bars that resulted in me getting pulled over for having amber turned on with white disabled. Rigid brand though. Cop was cool about it. He was like a grandpa scolding his grandson saying "don't do it again." I thanked him and turned it off prior to leaving the area. I knew I was going to get pulled over one of these days so I guess I can cross it off the bucket list of being a bad ass

Traded in the old fishing boat for a new (to us) one. This one comes pretty close to the 7k lb. tow rating. It's amazing how well this thing tows. I love my truck!

Repaired damaged wiring in my new-to-me 2003 Limited rig! Super clean, surprised to see a hack-ish looking job on this upon opening it up. Front cigarette lighter in pic, rear was simply unplugged behind the panel. Any ideas why that rear one was unplugged?

Watch out if you make it to the left coast...No front plate in Oregon is a pull-over and only amber or white in the front.
Seems like some old-school hotrods used to run purple in the back...
