installed my snorkel. Was not nearly as concerned about drilling a hole in my fender as I should have been.
Also broke all my fender clips, so to toyota I go tomorrow.

Adjusted the parking brake. Feels like ~8 clicks, but will see if it can hold tomorrow.
While i was doing this i also wanted to inspect the rear calipers to see if one was frozen/seized as there is some pulsation in the brake pedal. I was able to compress both in with equal force, but on one side i discovered uneven pad wear from front to back.

My sunroof gasket was shot and unfortunately you can’t replace just the gasket. Well after viewing a number of threads on how expensive it was to have the dealer replace just the glass, I decided I’d call around to some salvage yards. I found the entire assembly for $150 locally, so I grabbed it and last night my dad, wife and I dropped the headliner, and the entire assembly.
It took about 5 hours in total but I have a new working sunroof that seals correctly. Luckily I have covered parking so I never got any water damage when it rained and now I’m set.

ound: #sorrynotsorryDid you happen to grab pics of the process or was there an existing writeup you followed? Does your rig have airbags in the pillars?
I'm going to have to do the same eventually, curious what I'm in for.

I've got some pictures that I'll post up tomorrow for you. Basically I followed the TSB. I have airbags in the pillars and all in all it wasn't terrible. Once you get the headliner off, it's a matter of undoing 8 bolts and nuts and letting the entire assembly drop. If you go the route of replacing the glass, it's probably a bit harder, but with the entire assembly it's literally drop it, put the new one in, connect it all back up and you're ready to roll.
I'll get you those pictures tomorrow.
The TSB you need is the headliner and the sliding roof system sections. "Remove the headliner in 54 easy steps!"

They are just the white ones. I didn't see the need for the red, if I want to do that my headlamp does red light.
