Have been wanting to do that so I can roll the rear window down while moving. Any change in sound?

Not only does it help or fix the rear window fumes issue, it also makes it so you can use a rear hitch cargo carrier and not melt or set things on fire lol. Which was my purpose of doing this originally.
If there is a change in sound its extremely minimal and im the only one who notices it, But it might be slightly louder and deeper sounding.
The whole job took all of 5 minutes and the hardest part was wondering why I put this off for so long. lol
once you cut it off behind the resonator, what tubing did you use for the side turn? i have a v6, and am considering doing this because i drive with the rear window down often/for my dog...

A 45 degree 2.5 inch exhaust pipe from autozone and a HD exhaust clamp.

That's pretty much what I did. I painted it with flat black engine enamel because I don't like shiny things.

I got stuck above the timber line and ill probably pay $1k to get it recovered. Popped a wheel in the process.
I went up some switchbacks that looked like every other trail I've been on, then I got to a sign that said private property with no way to turn around. Finally found a spot to kinda get turned around and popped a tire in the process.
I had to abandon the truck and hitch a ride into town.
The nearest tree is about 300 feet away and I only have 40 feet of chain/recovery straps.
Anybody near chaffee county Colorado that can help me out? I'm afraid the wrecker won't make it up there. If it's wider than a 4runner I think I'm ****ed.

Had to hammer a socket on my wheel locks to get them off, lost the key :redbrick:

I am getting my front door windows tinted 30% today on my lunch break. :reddance: I hope that matches the rear factory tint well.

I thought we legally couldn’t tint any darker than 35% in Texas? On the two front windows, at least.
Also, I learned something new when I got my front windows tinted. Toyota doesn’t do “factory tint” if you take a look at the rear windows, there is no starting point for the tint from factory, it’s just a black glass they put on there to act like tint. It really doesn’t keep the heat from the sun out though. I never knew that. The guy who told me could’ve just been BSing but he sounded like he knew what he was talking about haha
These trucks always look good tinted all the way around, regardless!

Ordered interior LED kits, backup LED bulbs, and installing a foxwing awning today! Also cleaning up the underhood Dynamat liner.
Must be new because back then I had to do 35% all around on my TSX and 35% on the front of my old 3rd gen.
On another note, I just got tracking info from Stoptech on my calipers. Looks like I'll be doing the entire braking setup the weekend after next :biggrin2:

I just didn't have access to a computer to link everything until today.
My solution really doesn't lengthen it but I plan on epoxying the IS300 pedal over our pedal. It's not as direct a replacement as the brake pedal because the pedal uses a pin to attach to the stock IS300 pedal so it doesn't come off like the brake pedal. More explanation than really needed but I plan on looking into other options before I brake out the dremel and start milling plastic off the back of the IS300 gas pedal.

I was in temporary 4runner meetup in a McDonald's drivethru, I noticed two 5th gens infront of me, and a 3rd Gen 4runner behind me, and I yelled out my window, "I didn't know there was a 4runner meetup going on in Flagstaff" Which lead to the guys behind and in front of me to laugh. One thing I love about owning a 4Runner is that so many other owners share that same love for their car.
Getting all the cheap mods out of the way haha. Resonator delete made it a TINY bit louder but nothing really noticeable. Did it more for the side exit and to not smell exhaust fumes with the back window down. Also picked stainless so it'll never look like poop, just my welds will

Huh, I guess they did update it. Just got mine done a few months back and it was 35% then
