Installed RAD Rubber splash guards today. So much thicker than the stock ones. And it was nice that it came with new clips. I think it had something like 3 extra in case you broke any.

Installed the Bluetooth steering wheel controls and they work with my Pioneer MVH-2400NEX and the CRUX SWRTY-61S. I'll admit to being more excited than I should be when it worked.
Pro tip: plug the ribbon cable in all the way to save 5 minutes of stress thinking you wasted your money.

I will admit I took a gamble. Seems like quality is hit or miss. Im hoping that fact that I live in AZ an dont have a lot of rain will help.

Thanks! I have an ‘06 but looking at similar eBay style lights. Planning on sealing whatever I buy since i live in New England and we get a lot of weather between snow and rain

Decided to replace all of the interior LED's I had originally put in. Bought a cheap all in one kit for the 4Runner previously, and was never satisfied with the color and output. Got the Sirius brand interior LED's and they are much better. Nice clean white, and significantly brighter.
I also cleaned out my license plate lights, as they had accrued a significant amount of dust and dirt over the years. Originally thought I was going to have to buff some oxidation out, but it turned out to just be dirt on the interior of the housing. While I was at it, put some LED's in there too.
I had been vacillating over doing the fog light mod for quite some time. I don't know why, but I just kept putting it off. Went ahead and did it, and laughed at myself after for having put it off for so long. Literally took five minutes.
My intention is more to utilize the fogs as DRL's. I don't have the DRL module installed standard, nor do I care for the look of the amber DRL's. Ordered a couple various sets of mid-range 9006 LED 6000k lights to see if they function in the factory projectors without any glare to oncoming traffic. Don't want to invest too much since the housings will be replaced in a few months when I get my Shrockworks bumper. I'd love to try to squeeze some Morimoto matchbox projectors in there if I was keeping the OEM bumper.
I also got my custom plate a couple weeks back(picked up on my 35th bday)...sure do love the look of the black CA plates!

This thread should be stickied. I had to do a bit of digging to find it.
I spent the weekend solving some electrical gremlins with my FJ40 KC daylighters. Once I figured it out and fixed it I removed them and installed a 14 inch lightbar in their place. Once I finished working on my FJ (trying to get it trail ready again) I did the diff breather mod on my 4runner.

Nice looking truck! Gotta say I wouldn't be too pleased if they jacked up my truck like that. That doesn't look too secureIt wasn’t today but Saturday. Had the new to me 2016 Trail rims installed. They look amazing on the 4th gens. Best rims money can buy IMO.

Maybe the shop is saving up for a lift...
All of the other bays that had lifts were taken when mine got pulled in. This was at Discount Tire. I wasn’t too worried, plus if something happened, the cost is on them.

They look great! I agree with you, they are the best stock rim style for these trucks. I was strongly considering these myself until I found some Fuel rims in black that I just had to have. If I ever find a set of those trail rims for a good price locally, I’ll snag them though, and mount snows on them or something just because I love them.
