What made you two think the X-REAS needed replacing? On mine, at 147K, it doesn't feel like it handles road imperfections anymore. It feels way too firm over bumps.

Fab'd up a mounting bracket and finally got around to installing a proper fuse block. Now I can clean up the small rat nest of fused leads hiding under the fuse box cover, and add a few more 12V accessories.

Looks like a circuit breaker that can be re-set rather than a fuse that has to be replaced. I remember one of these in a work truck of mine years ago and totally forgot about them until I saw this pic! Good idea!What is the device on the vertical side piece there? A fuse or switch of some kind?

Consider making these flat cut outs and selling them to those of us who are interested in a DIY solution that are capable of a little bending/welding!JVC nailed it. Its a 100A breaker.
Funny, I actually used cardboard to mock it up then drew it in CAD as a water-jet flat pattern. Few bends in a finger break, and a couple of small welds and it's done.
The 4AWG power leads are straight off Amazon. Along with the breaker and fuse block.
