What did you do with your 4runner today?

Got the 4Runner with 116k miles and I just rolled over 180k. I've never changed the spark plugs, and I have no clue when/if they were changed before I got it. Went with the Denso Spark Plug Iridium Long-Life SK20HR11. [MENTION=91393]papabeach[/MENTION] and I knocked it out in less than an hour, with multiple beer breaks in between.

Also, cleaned my passenger side headlight. I took my driver side headlight apart, baked it in the oven, pulled it apart, and resealed it. Hopefully it doesn't leak anymore and I stopped the condensation build-up.

Replaced the rear window weather strip. 2 minute job. Funny thing is this one lasted 14 years and my work vehicle (2016 Ford Explorer) has the exact same issue.

Nice! I definitely need new weather strip all the way around. Did you get the parts from your dealer, or are there other sources that should be considered?

did you just snug the spark plugs or torque them?

Torqued the spark plugs, but i snugged the boot.

Swapped out the overhead console today. Purchased the new to me one off eBay, no luck finding one local at a salvage yard. Unfortunately it was sold to me as a unit that “has microphone” when it does not. I was trying to be preemptive trying to get the OEM mic before doing my head unit install, then found out I wouldn’t be able to use the OEM mic. At least that’s what I have read on these forums.

Cleaning always cleaning.

I Cleaned up my headlights today. Used a water-spot remover and then waxed them. They came out smooth and clear.

Replaced my wrecked CV joints, replaced the seals and drained and refilled the diff. 260,000 miles and it rides so quiet now.
For reference, the old axle boot in this photo, I didn’t cut that away, that’s all that was left when I took it out.

Most of these lights were burnt out. Felt good to fix these.
