Found that one of these cargo cover end pieces had fallen off. Fortunately, one screw was still in the piece and the other had wedged itself into a corner of the cargo area. The opposite side was okay but I put some blue thread locker on all 4 screws to be sure they stay secure. Might be worth checking yours.

Waiting to see whether the loose screws were the source of the maddening rattle from back there. Only stopped when the cover was extended so it’s a possibility.

I’m about to do a trail with a bunch of river crossings and had everything to do it. Took about 15 minutes I used the old breather instead of the intake hose nipple. Closest dealer is 45 minutes south of where I live.

Goodyear MT/Rs(265 70 17) on 2017 wheels...

Half way through replacing the front xreas shocks and wheel bearings. I used the no spring compressor method and it worked just fine. New Bilsteins all the way around.

The older I get, the longer it takes.

Make sure you tighten down the 4 17mm hub assembly bolts good. I had one bearing where the bolts backed out and it gave me weird braking issues until I figured it out.

Thanks. Thats good to note. Its impossible to get a torque wrench on those. I cranked on them, and then wacked the box end wrench with a BFH for insurance. Red loctite should keep them from backing out.

What stinks is, I broke the speed sensor trying to remove the sensor. That added an extra $110 to the job.

Measured 2.75" when done. I am VERY happy with the ride, both on and off road.

Yeah I usually just double wrench the crap out of them. Loctite should help!

Went to Death Valley yesterday with the in-laws. Today I got my Dobinsons adjustable lower trailing arms installed. Backed the adjustable ends out and anti-seized em. Got my pinion angle a little closer. Checked the rear diff fluid and took it for a test drive to get overpriced coffee. These Dobinsons trailing arms are awesome. I doubt I’ll ever second guess the purchase of these.

They’re adjustable so you can correct your pinion angle when you lift your rig. These are curved at the axle end for clearance. They’re also beefier than stock so it may be less likely to bend one.

Installed the Lamin-X yellow film on my fogs. Cheap mod that was easy to do. Glad I watched a couple YouTube videos an the install. Made it easy.

I like the yellow. Not knowing any better I got the amber Lamin-x. Hate it. I’m going to peel it off and go with Sealight 3000k LEDs next I think.
