There have been numerous threads on this subject.

....And I did contribute something positive saying that a sticky should be created so we can keep all the same information in one place. It only makes sense, instead of creating a new thread every time a new model comes out (which actually turns into ten new threads from ten different people because they don't know how to use the search function). hwell:

I recommend waiting for the 2016/2017 models to be released, then you should probably get a good deal on a leftover 2016 model.

I will search, just didnt see much on 2016 deals. I am guessing there is more money on the table for 2015's

Look man, regardless of when you buy a Toyota or what kind of Toyota it is, plan on paying from 10% off of list to full list price+, depending on the dealer, geographic location and vehicle. That's OTD price. There is no need for a thread or multiple threads or even multiple responses. That is what you can expect. Seriously. If you go back through the nine million posts in the two hundred thousand threads that is what you will find with 99% certainty. Nothing has changed deal-wise since 2010 regarding the price you pay and your deal making skills with Toyota. So if a new 4Runner of any type lists for $40K, 99% of the time you will pay between $36K and $40K+TTL. I know this is not the sexy way to answer the post but it is the factual way.

Some may be placing pre-order orders for 2016 4Rs, but I am pretty sure that not one person has closed a deal to the point of actual purchase and driving away of a 2016 4R. And until that time of driving away, not one person can realistically tell you what they have paid for a 2016 4R. That is unless you posted this thread as a placeholder (that would be kind of like a pre-thread thread) only to be used in the future when people are actually closing deals and driving their 2016 4Rs. Well, then, i guess we missed that point.

Actually it is not true. 20% off of Fords and Chevys is quite common. You can get $48k Ford truck for the low to mid $30s.
