What do you get with the Sport package?

Going to be buying a 2005 4runner Sport V8. Just curious what upgrades you get with the Sport package? I know the wheels are different and you get a hood scoop. What else? Steering wheel controls? Possibly JBL? Sunroof?

I only know about the X-REAS Suspension and the spoiler is the hump style

Wheels, hood scoop, x-reas and the black cloth are the main features. JBL in a sport is very rare. JBL is pretty much standard in the limited and may only be added in the sr5 and sport if its custom added.

Yeah, Its in my wifes as well. I shoped for my sport for about 7mo and saw very few with JBL, even fewer with JBL and leather. Hers has both, mine with only leather. I'm about to add a kenwood nav unit to make up for the lack of JBL to add some function.

I bought a new 2008 Sport last year.

V8, 2WD, leather, JBL, no sunroof, no spoiler.

Note: On the Sport the steering wheel tilts AND telescopes.

On the standard SR5 the steering wheel only tilts.

I'm about to pull the trigger on an 06' Sport but its got the Non-JBL radio setup in it. The car is EXACTLY what I'm looking for with the exception of the base radio. Am I gonna regret not holding out for a JBL-equipped rig? I'm not looking for amazing sound but don't want garbage either.

well IMHO if the radio, is the "only" thing of concern, Id buy it, being that most people upgrade to an aftermarket stereo anyways. Im happy with the quaility of the JBL, I will upgrade later, ONLY for the fact I want a double DIN touch screen with Sirius and Nav. that will get rid of my sirius unit and the tomtom, lol Id rather have them in an all in one unit.

My 08 T4R and my old 05 Taco both have / had the JBL system. I think it sounds really good.

However, the 6 disc changer in my Taco went out after about 4 years. The guys at the car audio place say they see those factory changers go out constantly. So, that could be one reason to be happy not to have it?

If the rig is everything you want besides the stereo, I say get it (assuming it's a good deal). You can always add an aftermarket stereo speakers no problem.
