What do you hate about your T4R?

Everything works great in mine, but I do hate the tiny little gas tank and hitting my head sometimes getting in and out. I live in a rural area so I have to drive a ways when I go anywhere, seems I am constantly filling the thing up.

-my rear hatch has a irritating rattle
-rear wipers suck
-brakes sucks(not sure if it master cylinder or not?)
-eats gas like a mofo after lifting
-wish "ALL" 3rd gen came with hood scoops
-dont care for the TAN leathers but hopefully soon some wetokoles will cover up the mess

I as well hate the water dumb in the front windows from the roof. Somewhat solved that problem by installing the window vent visors. Took a little while to get use to but overall happy with the purchase.

Only other non modifiable rant, that i surprised no one else has mentioned yet is the location of the of the oil filter. That thing is in a horrible position!

Did you check the 02 sensor? make sure its plugged in and wired correctly? Try borrowing a friends and see if the CE light goes away. Clean the MAF? Check all hoses/intake is all hooked up properly.

Could be wrong, but I think a P0171 refers to MAF, not O2 sensor.
Cleaned the maf, no difference.
Sprayed throttle body cleaner all over engine, no difference in idle.
Switched maf with another working maf; no change still seeing super high AFR readings at idle after warmed up, then tripping CEL.
Still hate the P0171 code on my 4runner :lasercannon:

Let's try this again.

The things I hate about my 4R...

-No power. A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse! 50 more in fact.
-Better protection. A safety/roll cage. I would hate to end upside down in a 4Runner. Side curtain airbags would be nice too.
-Bluetooth enabled for iPhone implementation.
-I hate that there's no stereo volume control on the steering wheel.
-I hate that the stereo and thermostat controls are sunk so far into the center console.

AND THE WORST OF THE BUNCH
-The sun visor. They are WAY too small. Unless the sun is directly front of you they do not block anything. Usually the sun sets just to the left of the visor, or to the right above the rearview mirror. I HATE THAT!!

Same as what the OP said about the water! So annoying!! The lack of heat all around including the rear defroster.

Must be something wrong there, my heater will absolutely run you out of the cabin without the fan on.

Rear bumpers rust out way too soon. Overhead lights way to dim. No power door lock by tailgate door. No rear clothes hanger to hang my fishing vest.

What do I hate about my 96 3rd gen? Lots of stuff. Just off the top of my head:
1. I hate that it has about 108,000 miles on it and doesn't leak a drop and runs like a top.
2. I hate that the A/C works perfectly and freezes you better than any other vehicle we have. Same for the heater.....hot hot hot.
3. I hate that it rides like a Cadillac since Sonoran Steel hooked us up.
4. I hate that it gets 20 MPG no matter what, the best mileage in our collection.
5. I hate that it is 4WD and A/T and power rear roll down window and the kids fit perfectly in it and all their gear too.
6.I hate that it has a power antenna that works perfectly.
7. I hate that it is paid for.
8. I hate that the registration for it here in AZ was $73 for 2 years!
I hate all these things because it sure would be nice to drive a brand new 2013 or 2014 5th gen SR5! But I can't, I have Gigi's 1996
