What do you keep in the rear cubby?

Just got my 4runner. I have two emergency kits that I need to carry but they won't fit in the cubby in the trunk area on the right. Looking for ideas for stuff to store there.

Planning to get myself a mechanics toolset, probably in parts so it isn't one big case. Screw drivers/flat heads in one and wrenches/sockets in another. And then down the road invest in one of those Stanley jump start/air compressor. Always good to have, and I'll need an air compressor eventually anyway! Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. (yeah I know it won't fit there, but the tools will.)

Cheapo machette from Walmart camping section fit (tight) angled in there. Put a large snatch strap rolled up, and then filled in the remaining small spaces with some ratcheting straps. Nothing seems to rattle or vibrate currently, granted it's a tight squeeze with all that stuff.

I keep jumper cables, a drop hitch and a medium size maglite. All fits well and no rattling.

I keep a Roll of TP in there, jumper cables, ratcheting straps, small flashlight, gloves and gallon of coolant. I should probably take out the coolant, and look for a first-aid kit.

The 99+ guys have more space in their rear cubby... I wish I had more space there!

Built a storage box to hold: ratchet / sockets, screwdrivers, crescent wrench, recovery gear, spare fuses, duct tape, boots, towels, a shovel, gloves, a hammer, a hatchet, 200ft of 200lb test rope, ratchet straps, tire chains, saw, paper towels, climbing caribiners, spare electrical wire, electrical tape, spare headlight bulb, and other misc. stuff. Beside my storage box I have a Rockford Fosgate amp/ 12" sub w/ enclosure, a small cooler, 2 gallons of emergency water, and a bug out bag.

With the smaller cubby in my 97 there isn't much room to jam stuff in there. I believe that I have jumper cables, a quart of oil, a first aid kit and some rags stuffed in there to stop any rattles.

A cargo box build is in my future to clean up all the random stuff (tools and recovery gear mostly) that fills up the back of my buggy.
