added some more cars to the stable:
1989 Ford Probe GT, my friend and I just rebuilt a 2.2 Mazda engine, turbo at 10PSI currently. Extremely cheap and efficient daily driver. Fast like hell for what it is, 190hp/220ft-lbs at the wheels. Build:
COB's 4Runner Timeline (Pic Heavy) Post #1020663
Some of the parts installed: strut bar, HKS SSQV blow off valve (fake, but it works), N/A high compression pistons, boost/AFR gauges, Mazda MX6 bucket seats, leather Mazda steering wheel, boost controller
Pile of parts, including lowering springs, struts, lower tie bar, OZ F1 16"s, 4 Michelin tires 215/55/16, 89 GT front bumper (This car IS an 89GT, the previous owner had a fender bender and installed the wrong front bumper) 92 style mirrors, cup holder, new door handle, etc... best of all, it was all from junkyards or part outs, so even after registration, I've barely broken $1000 total.
1987 4Runner Turbo. Just got it, runs (hardly), bad head gasket. Scored it for $900 from an impound lot owner, just before it was destined to be crushed.
