What else do you drive?

18 JLUR sitting driveway about to sell. Drove it for 3+ years, wife’s car is a BMW M240 convertible. When the Wrangler sells will have to default to wife’s car for convertible and fast :)

* Wrangler did not fit the fast need hahahaha! But it worked for the convertible parts.

Daily drive a 1971 Ford F100 from May-October. Plan is to daily drive the 2000 4Runner November - April.

Wife has 2021 Highlander XLE

College student has 2014 Camry LE

I had an 11 wrx Impreza same color. I wish I never sold it! Enjoy

In addition to the 2020 T4R I just got I have a F350 4 door 8' bed diesel for pulling our 5th wheel, wife drives a Subaru Outback and I've got a Harley trike for nice days.

Just wondering what other choices y'all have made in vehicles. I drive my '74 beetle to keep the daily driving off of my '85 4runner, I also have a 1954 Chevy Pick-up, pretty much original.
I made the bumpers for the Beetle from Lodge-pole pine trees, and made my own roof rack.

Just picked up a 2021 RAV4 XSE Hybrid (white/black 2 tone) & love it.

I'm on my 7th car at 20 years old. Got an 04 Limited V8 4WD 4Runner for my 16th bday, shoulda kept it but I sold it. In that time I had a Mazdaspeed Miata for two years, sold it.
Found a '94 NA Miata as a project car. Kept that for about a year.
Got cash and an 03 Corolla for my 4Runner... sold the Corolla to a friend for profit a month later.
Bought an 06 IS350 last year which I still have.
Sold the NA Miata earlier this year, picked up an '86 K10.
Picked up my second 4Runner, an 07 Limited V8 4WD, a few weeks ago.
Who knows what's next!

I just picked up a 2008 RAV4 with 100,000 miles in very good shape, other than the struts and shocks. Replacing the struts was easier than the shocks. It is usually the other way round. We now have 5 toytota products in the stable: 3 4runners and 2 RAV4's.

We have a Honda Civic too. The 4Runner doesn't get the best mileage and is our "adventure car" and so having a more economical city car is how we view it. Maybe a BEV or PHEV in the future to save even more gas.

Is the new redesigned Rav4 better than the previous generation? In terms of exterior the previous model looks much much better, my opinion.

I don't know. I haven't gotten to experience the newer generation. The RAV4 lost the full sized spare in 2014? I believe. I'm a full-sized spare kinda person.

2005 outback and 2015 RAM dually to haul the toys. Patiently awaiting delivery of the Speed SXS

Awesome, I also have a 3rd gen 4Runner and a 3rd gen RAV4. I'm actually going to tackle the shocks and struts soon on my RAV4; can I ask what made the shocks so much more difficult on yours? I've been worried about removing the high torque strut bolts, and the shocks didn't look so bad to do, but I certainly could be missing something. Thanks!

The shock nut access on top is a real pain to get to. You have to use an open end 17mm on the one side to slide it off because you don't have enough room to remove the wrench when the bolt/nut backs out. You also have to remove the bottom shock bracket from the knuckle(2 bolts up, underneath) to get the lower bolt out of the shock. I reversed the bolt when I reinstalled it so I don't have to remove the whole bracket. For the front struts, I bought the struts with the spring already attached. I don't like messing with spring compressors because of a previous experience.

Good to know, thank you!
