What Happened

Was driving about 60 MPH and the 4 way flashers blinked on the dash. I thought that was odd. Then about 20 min later they flashed twice. Has not happened since.

Clearly the rig was panicking... did you have both hands on the wheel? were you listening to crappy music?

If it were mine, I would start with the flasher switch. Maybe the switch is bad or has a loose wire(s) causing a momentary close that causes the flash. Maybe over slight bumps or certain vibration. Also, I would go from that to the flasher relay to make sure it is seated well and wires to and from are correct and tight. That is where I would start. If it's still under warranty, have the dealer check those things. Good luck.

Mess with your dash recently? Not a lot to go on. That switch is always hot right? So something in the circuit is either going bad allowing the loop to complete or a mod of yours wasnt fully assembled correctly? It's all a guess and a vague one at that with the information available.

where does the FOB live? could it have been triggered? don't the 4ways flash with the door lock/unlock?

Tap on the 4 way flasher button and see if it's overly sensitive. If so activate it a few times to see if it clears up.

This is what I was going to suggest. Could the lock/unlock button have been hit?

Only other option would be, like the others said, that some accessory isn't connected correctly and is causing them to go off.
