I had the most amazing day! Went to Muir Woods and Sausalito and on the way back we were going to stop at the GGB to walk it. I took a wrong turn and ended up on the most beautiful mountain overlooking the bridge and city. We drove all the way up. Beautiful views all the way up! At the very top there was a concrete tunnel in the middle of the mountain, went through it and watched the most amazing sunset ever.

I know I text Kenzie cause she lives about an hour North and told her that it's supposed to rain. We're planning to meet at the Warf. I'll be there either way both tomorrow and Friday so I'm hoping she makes it down. Her safety comes first though!

Safety first definitely! My wife works kinda by Fisherman's Wharf near Embarcadero and takes BART to the city every day. Fisherman's Wharf is great, might be kinda tough with the rain and wind, but you can go in the Aquarium at Pier 39 which is pretty cool. Also check out Ghirardelli Square which is right by Fisherman's Wharf. It's still outside, but you might be able to keep a little more dry.

i used to live in the Napa valley so SF and the bay are kinda my old back yard... i think its probably my favorite city in the US. Alcatraz, i have honestly never been so i cant speculate, but id say go just to go and say you have been there..., but what i am supprised about is no one has said anything about the trolly/cable cars, thats as much SF as Alcatraz, they are a must imo. Peir 39 and the Aquarium like others have said, the Presidio , Ghirardelli Square, The Palace of Fine Arts, Coit tower, Lombard street, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge yeah its a fun place, people are nice and basically the city has something for everyone

as far as napa and the winery goes though the locals might hate you... i know when i lived there i hatted the tourist... and when i was back down there visiting in dec. i could tell not much had changed, in fact it only has gotten worse. but dont let that shy you away cause it really is a beautiful place

I don't think we're going to make it to Alcatraz, but I've been able to get several picture of it. I find the Trolly cars amazing. Haven't gone on one, but just the way they function and the history behind them is fascinating.

I want to for sure do that aquarium either today or tomorrow. Love animals! Even those pesky seagulls. The one yesterday loved my coffee ice-cream

I used to live over in Berkley and really enjoyed it. If you want another killer sunset view, go up to Indian Rock. I used to climb up there after work all the time and the view back to SF is amazing as long as it's not too foggy.

Oh and get this. I am a Toyota freak. Have had an old pickup, couple Camrys, Rav4, Sienna and my 4R. I have NEVER seen so many Toyota's in my life. They're everywhere! Lots of 3rd gens. It honestly really makes me want to trade mine in for one. There's just something about them that really catch my eye.

I drove all day yesterday in a Prius. Hate the look of a Prius. Would have never considered owning one. After driving that thing, I fell in love with it! Loved, loved it!!

I love that you say this. Living in a city all your life, you sometimes take advantage of it and start to oversee the things that some thing are just unbelievable.
It's an amazing place!... well anything might be amazing comparing it to Nebraska

If you ever come ,make sure you hit me up , I know where the bodies are buried . But seriously lotta good places to visit that don't involve casinos , Valley of Fire , Mt. Charleston lots more . So next time ! And if you ever go to SF again gotta go down the coast 17 mi. drive Mike n LV :vader:

We just got from seeing the Cliff House Amazing, amazing! So windy. Stood and watched the ... what do you call them? Wind surfers? Also went to Palace of Fine Arts. Such a lovely place!

too bad it was so windy, i absolutely love that place. Sounds like you're making the rounds good on SF. Too bad you dont think youll have time for Alcatraz, thats a sight to see.
