What HID/LED company are you using? post pics

Installed my Diode Dynamics H11 low beam 6000K hId's today and ran there HD waterproof relay harness to the battery instead of relying on the oem harness. I love the way they came out! I tucked all the wiring underneath the radiator support and placed the ballest behind the flap of the fenders so there is nothing you can see

Removed the plastic support cover and ran under the support

Used existing ground to ground hid's (so convenient!) Also tucked everything under that fender liner flap

Push little plastic clips down to remove radiator cover they come off easy

is the high beam bright? and is the drl dim? some have said that even with the low voltage with the drl it will be full brightness which means you'd be riding round with your high beams on.

High beam is as bright as oem i think, and the drl looks amazing and isn't overpowering

I bought some wire loom from HD/Lowes to hide all the extra wires from my HID kit, looks practically stock.
Also, hid my ballast in the same spot as you did.

I didnt bother to use relays on my HID kit. My lexus doesnt have relays and it fires up just fine so I figured if my old lexus can handle it so can my 4runner.

Looks awesome, if your doing some night driving can you get high beam pics...I don't want to lose any light output. I do a lot of night driving.

If you low beam is sufficient for cases that you actually need high beams, then your low beam is too bright and aimed too high (and definitely blinding people)!

Just did the exact same setup. Thanks OP for posting and for the walk-thru. Those side panels hide the gear very nicely.

Very nice truck too! Love the DRL's.
