What is a fair price for 2016 TE Rims

Will be upgrading my rims to SCS Stealth 6 rims soon being I heard they improve fuel economy. Just called the dealership here in Calgary and they say my OEM TE rims new are CDN$684.60/each, what is a fair price to sell them for, they are 2 months old and in perfect condition. Anyone want them for that price. that is about $50.00/each in US dolars.

Price them fairly and you will sell them no problem, especially if they are as new.

I sold mine here to a forum member (mine were perfect) for $350 plus shipping. We worked out a deal that worked for both of us and I was able to ship half way across the country through my Fed-Ex account for a pretty reasonable amount.

You'll want to consider that you are in Canada and shipping fees will be higher but $50 a piece is dirt cheap for perfect rims.

You will sell them in a day at that price.

When I was looking for winter rims, I found a bunch of OEM (SR5 & Trail) wheels listed on Craigslist. Anywhere from $250 (missed that one damn!) all the way up to $1k. The ones listed for around $400 or under seemed to go within a day or 2. As the prices went up from there, so did the selling times. At $700 or more, they seemed to just sit there, until the seller dropped the price. I don't know what the going rate is in Canada, but in CO, their resale seems to be pretty low compared to what the dealership says they cost. For most people these will be a second set, so it is hard to justify paying a high price. Just my experience from a few months ago....

When I first went to sell mine, I saw others going for $800 for a brand new set taken of a new rig, or $600 for slightly used and excellent condition. I listed mine for $550 since the tires are worn out and the wheels have some wear and tear, but I didn't get any serious offers. I'm about to list them again and will hopefully be able to get $450. I've only listed them on Craigslist.

the going rate by others is about $600-700, however they are not selling. don't nickel and dime.

Post them for $500-$550 and you will get traction and sell them quickly.

I put mine on Craigslist for $500 and just got scam calls. Guessing folks in my area (NJ) aren't so interested in them. They had 50 miles on them before I switched them out for black TRD wheels. I figure I'll try selling them here once I figure out the shipping.

I tried $500 for wheels only on Craigs List figuring the buyer wouldn't have to pay freight for local pickup. I didn't want to go with bigger tires right away, so I put them on the TRD wheels, but now I'm thinking I should have.

I sold my TE wheels with tires, TPMS sensors/valve stems, and lug nuts for $500 to another forum member. They had about 800 miles on them at the time. Post yours up on craigslist and the for sale/wanted thread - you'll find them a new home.
