What is the LCD looking thing behind the sunroof for?

Don't have a photo of it handy but I just noticed some LCD looking screen behind the sunroof facing the back seats. Didn't have anything displayed on it regardless of anything I changed, I thought at first maybe it displayed radio settings or something. Anybody know what it is and what it's for?

its a rear seat entertainment system. If you have wireless headphones you can play diff radio stations through them. Or if you have the remote still you can control the radio from outside the truck. It comes in handy sometime.....if your outside your truck with the radio on and the window down/hatch open and need music .....i guess. I have used mine once i think

I only have 2 vents back there with just an open/close wheel. And it isn't displaying anything with the heat or A/C turned on. Then again I've never had anybody sit in the back so I haven't had anybody pester me about being hot or cold back there to figure anymore out.

And I guess the better use of words to describe is it is part of the trim around the overhead lights behind the sunroof.

It's the radio display for the rear seat entertainment. Requires the wireless headphones and remote.

X2...you need the remote to turn the display on. You can control the track with the remote, but not volume.

Yep, it's the rear entertainment / radio package for wireless headphones, I've never used it, my remote is still in the plastic, I've never even turned the thing on

Well I do remember finding a remote somewhere after I bought the car. No idea what hiding spot I found it in or where I put it back anymore. Definately weren't any wireless headphones though. I probably shouldn't ever worry about it again since I doubt I'll ever have a use for it.

Right on it, exactly where it was but never took a look other than seeing it was a remote. I thought it was left in it just like a pair of Honda keys were.

It is definitely not worth buying the headphones. It is a useless option IMO. I hardly ever used my headphones (that I had the dealer throw in) and the materials on the headpieces are ripping.
