I would have to say my yellow Hoen fog light bulbs and my Yakima loadwarrior basket.
T4RSpectreSix said:I got mine for cheap from a friend that works at a parts store locally. They're PIAA brand. The size you need is 168/194. My PIAA bulbs are listed as such, and they work flawlessly. Bright white, too.
I highly recommend them, but if you'd like some lower priced bulbs then you can check out V-Leds.com, autoillumination.com, or superbrightleds.com . They all carry them, so you have multiple options.
Just wanted to add, after doing my LED tails, I find these plate bulbs really compliment the factory leds. Make it almost a lexus-like appeal, IMHO.
Enjoy!

bigt2148 said:Great! Thanks for the info! How much do the PIAA's cost and is it as easy as unscrewing the factory bubls and screwing these in?
T4RSpectreSix said:Well, generally speaking, PIAA bulbs tend to be the most expensive bulbs, usually about twice as much as other brands - but not always.
This site has a set on sale now for a little more than $20.
You can buy them at the official PIAA.com website as well, and I think if you order from there, they will ship it from a nearby supplier or allow you to pick it up from the supplier, and you can then avoid shipping charges. The only downside is they cost a few more bucks.

Those are the ones I have.
As far as installing them, all you need is a screwdriver to remove two screws highlighted in green pictured here:

Once you remove the screw, the light housing is now only attached to the truck by the wires. It will probably take a little bit of prying to get the clear lens off of the light housing, it's attached by a rubber gasket, but the gasket on mine was stuck on there pretty good, but if you're careful and persistent, you'll get it off just fine. I used my fingernails for this, but if you're careful you could probably use anything from a debit card to a screwdriver to pry it apart if you wanted.
After that, just simply remove the old bulb, and carefully insert the new bulb (be sure to check polarity, the PIAA bulbs have to be installed sitting just right. If you get them in there backwards, the bulb won't light up, but it won't hurt it any, it will just need to be reversed to work, so be sure you wait to screw the lenses back on until you've tested them!
Good luck!
